Very nice. A little rough in a few spots, but overall, excellent. It is a pity that you didn't have a more appreciative audience. That is one of the difficult parts of performing classical music, even though, technically it often requires more technique and in some cases skill, it is often unappreciated. People also do not realize the endless hours that you spend preparing. Just wondering how many Hanon's you had to do to get your fingers to move that fluidly? Keep it up.
i admire your technical skill but it's kinnda cheap the way you present this song. $10 more put into this and it might be a hit. that corwd was still unappreciative.
hey, you! listen up- I'm almost ADDICTED to your video. it's great. I hope you know you deserve a 100-times-better audience than what you had, it's just difficult to see what you had been through. I wish you goodluck, you're a great artist. keep on the good work.
I thought it was awesome! The audience was typical. It wasn't snoop dog or p nigger! FUCK those pieces of shit! They are the reason genocide is a good idea! They should have been taken out ,lined up, and shot in the FACE at sunrise!
Good Job Man! A bit raw in places but, even a few changes can overcome that, (ie,placing your synth. on a rack above your main keyboard,) the flow got interrupted quite a bit when you had to switch. Been playing "Keys" for thirty years and know "speed" does'nt make up for "slurrrred" notes! But over all, you are GOOD! Man! No Keith Emerson yet but then again, Who is?? ROCK ON!! Bro. and thanks for having the Balls to even attempt this ELP Classic! Roy.
Good job! But, I barely recognized it sans the symphony. Perhaps that is why the crowd didn't seem to recognize it, either. You should have yelled, "Beef! It's what's for dinner!" They might have recognized it then.
The kid is playing Copland instead of NSync or some such pablum. Speed doesn't always help a piece (Mozart comes to mind but Copland is a good example, too). I'm more disappointed with a crowd that doesn't have any clue what it's hearing. Oh, and this was in 1999. I'm guessing the kid has had a few music lessons since then.
Do you have an old Hammond? I know they are hard to carry around but what a difference the sound they make! Sounding good, very good. We all love ELP, I can only wonder what a keyboardist feels when first hearing this music. Like sex I bet! Peace

I heard Keith Emerson perform this on a Hammond in the 60s, so somehow, it fits historically today.
