This is literally my favorite movie of all time. He may not have a legit Irish accent, but I'd take him any day of the week. Why are these two not married in real life???
@sillyjontag321 I'm pretty sure it's Romanian. Definitly not Irish (Gaelic) though. We've to spend about 10 years learning it in Ireland by God I'd recognise it if it were. :P
@debs25193 oh my bad :) this is kinda random, but my brother and his girlfriend studied abroad last year in cork, and they took a Gaelic class, I read their notes.. it looks like a really difficult language to learn
@sillyjontag321 Ah that's a lovely part of the country down there. Hope they enjoyed it now :) You'd find it tough enough trying to learn it if you're not from Ireland I'd say. But sure we only have 11 irregular verb like, compared to French or German where they have hundreds like. We start it young like about 6 or 7. But sure people here spend their time giving out about how hard it is too like. It's grand once you get stuck into it like. I love it altogether to be honest now :D
@debs25193 yeah they actually took their engagement photos at a church in Gougane Barra, they are beautiful pictures :), oh i see, i think that's a really good idea to start learning a language young. where I'm from we don't start learning different languages til were about 12 and we can choose ( in public schools) from German, Spanish and French.. most people choose to learn Spanish though,... i love the way Gaelic sounds though :)

@Pikepaw It us most certainly the most "moving" line in the movie; haven't checked all the DC scenes tho. I'd love for DH to say this to me; I'm sure I'd die of shock after but I'd love to hear it. We're like flip sides of a coin. We're both strongly opinionated often w/different opinions. He's logical & methodical whereas I'm free-spirited & open to things not tangible req'g proof of existence, not to mention our religious differences (MAJOR 1's) & I'm more open whereas he's too private.
