Yes, what we use does act as a vapor barrier as well. By now, many home improvement stores may carry both open and closed cell foam insulation boards, but for the most part, I think what they sell would be open, as it's more commonly used in other areas of home building.

Does that foil radiant barrier also act as a vapor barrier? And also is the foam board you typically find in home improvement stores closed cell?
