scientific study has shown that dogs dont see in 2 dimensions like tv and pictures, dont mention mirrors. mirrors r 3d. the freakin sound was scaring him. they hear it about 10 times louder than we do. damn, if u dont think he'd go into shock seeing moving light and hearing a creature hiss at him at that volume...

BTW, JC, not sure if Kaiser has experienced this situation:

My jack is 1 year old, and he now totally has his own mind. These days, he tempted to bite whoever tried to catch him when he bit/chewed on something he's not supposed to. And he made that fierce growl while showing his fearful teeth.

Any trick to discipline him you can suggest? Thanks.

XD..looks like he pwns you...you can't let them be the leader of the pack...kaiser knows this. When he does something wrong, I let him know..and he knows that he did something wrong. you got to have a rewarding voice and a discipline voice..

My little jack is also afraid of weird noises such as printer ink jet moving (lol), kids' scream, and...egg knocking on the bowl ! He will, however (different from Kaiser), be barking to defend himself. I guess because of their small figure, they tend to have big reaction.

I love Jack Russell. They do have ultimate characters in each of them.

dogs have different personalities. not all dogs are alike. Kaiser recovers quickly. He'll only be scared for just a moment..just like with the vacuum XD he sleeps just fine at night..I know Kaiser would thank you for the thought of his welfare=)
