No. Farnborough Aircraft had a brief joint venture with Epic which ended in 2005, a year before the Kestrel first flew. We did the majority of the aerodynamic design work for the Epic LT and the Kestrel, and the 2 aircraft use the same wing. The Kestrel's fuselage is significantly larger than the LT's, and it is designed to be a certified aircraft not a kit plane.
@FarnboroughAircraft so how do you guys get the same cruise speed as the epic? more powerful turbo? Epic has 1200 i think. How many does the kestrel have?
