There is a large difference between decriminalizing and making legal. I live in British Columbia and police have to constantly crack down on people growing pot because of the unsafe living conditions it causes(Especially if they have children in the house). See "spider mites".

The point isnt whether smoking weed has any negative health affects. McDonalds has negative health consequences. Should we make burgers illegal? Any massive or continual smoke inhalation is going to have some effects on the lungs, but these small consequences only prove that its substantially less worse then other substances already on the market and therefore a point for the legalize camp. Also its not smoked just to be smoked. Its just the best way for the body to absorb THC.
