  • What songs is Stevie merging together here? x

  • I can't get enough of this! She was & is beautiful! So talented! :) x

  • She was so ridiculously beautiful . . . WOW

  • it gives me joy and happyness

  • i bet she had no idea that in the year 2012 people would be watching this version and saying how awesome it is

  • Rock on Gold Dust Woman ;) what a beautiful Spirit!

  • i come back to watch this every couple of days

  • i couldn't love this anymore. just beautiful. what moment!

  • Pure beauty, Stevie and Lori create a song by merging two other songs out of thin air, on the fly. This version doesn't exist anywhere other than in their graceful talent. Just. Wonderful.

  • i fucking love her

  • Beautiful moment destroyed by a couple Howard Stern Clones in the end.

  • I have watched this clip now at least five times in the past two days. Absolutely mesmerizing.

  • The best moments are treasures like this. Totally relaxed, no mics, no EQ's, no electronic mumbo jumbo. etc. just pure magic.

  • yes it is Lori Nicks I watch this every few weeks for inspiration

  • Here's the attraction: Young, pretty girl, soft light, blond hair, ribbons in hair, silver jewelry (a cross no less) to accentuate the tan, 70's style terricloth top with no bra. Slight breeze to blow the hair. And she starts singing to you with that amazing voice! She has the flirtatious head tilt down as well. This must be where the legend of the Sirens came from that caused ships to crash on the rocks. She is truly gifted.

  • @genericjohnny If there were Sirens they sang like Stevie.

  • CAN someone please tell me who the "back up" singer is? I've tried identifying her but I'm not sure which gal it is. PS: This is an example of why Fleetwood Mac changed my outlook on music. Stevie is more than a genius- her soul speaks truth on a wavelength that is truly penetrating and inspiring.

  • @JoelCollier I'm pretty sure its Lori Nicks, her sister(in-law?).

  • Comparing Kim kardashian to Stevies nicks is like comparing a crack whore to a princess.

  • THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN ON THE PLANET

  • @mjpd1983 They dont make 'em like this anymore or ever for that matter

    Simply magic

  • @telesg

She makes all the women I see look like short fat bald men.

  • @mjpd1983

She makes all the women I see look like toilets. Airplane toilets.

  • @telesg

Look at Stevie, now at Kim Kardashian now back to Stevie. Sadly Kim's not like Stevie, but if she stopped being a whore and got some talent she might be able to act more like Stevie. Look down, back up, where are you? you're in Stevie's dressing room watching her sing an amazing song looking as stunning as ever. What's in your hand? back at me, now I have them, it's tickets to her 2011 tour. Anything's possible when you're as lovely as Stevie Nicks and not a socialite whore. I'm at work

  • @telesg

"This is my song Honey let me play with the girls." Brings a smile to my face every time. Stevie in yellow. (sigh)

  • Stevie looks so effortlessly radiant here. Does anyone know what year this was?

  • @ewetn1

82 during the greatest generation of music. First time I seen her smile

  • fantastic!

  • I'm only 25 and i've only really just discovered Fleetwood Mac....but Ms Stevie Nicks is one of the most beautiful people from the inside out...she's ETHEREAL!!! This is possibly my most favourite song ever, makes my soul smile!

  • Just stumbled upon this...amazing to see the beauty and the soundtrack to my parents music when I was a very little girl...love this video of her.

  • wow she shure hit the notes. Wich turned it into an Goosebumbs-song. Got to know it from a remake preformed by Susanne Sundfør nrk.no/nett-tv/indeks/286580/

  • Love this so much.

  • I cry every time i see this. She is so stunningly (is that a word) beautiful. And her voice omg. Love you Stevie.

  • I'm so in love. Pitter patter goes my heart :-)

  • I'm so in love. Pitter patter goes my heart :-)

  • Speechless...so beautiful - I mean the song, but of course, she is, too.

  • Possibly my favorite song by Stevie, and this version was never released! ) :

  • She is so flipping amazing and beautiful in this clip, wow. It never gets old.

  • This is the most beautiful thing i ever seen in my lfe,This is a Best song ever

  • This is the most beautiful thing i ever seen in my lfe,

  • This is the most beautiful thing i ever seen in my lfe

  • In a way, it's more enchanting to see this the way it is:

Completely unlike the final product, captured at a distance, spontaneous, misplaced.

Sometimes things are best captured behind closed doors, lost to the unintimate world.

  • i just realized pjetenere is old ,now he's 2 months older and about 60 viewings of this.good on yah ol man.........

  • Gentleman Reg's version anyone?

  • can anyone tell me what song she was singing before wild heart??

  • @okfire51 love in store

  • @okfire51 It's "Never Take Your Love Away" Fleetwood Mac

  • @Jeloni2 nope its "love in store" from the album ¨mirage'

  • @okfire51 "Love In Store"- a Christine McVie song from Fleetwood Mac's Mirage album. Great song! Heck , great album!

  • She is an angel in this video. So adorable. So feminine and still is today. I can't think of another woman singer that can day that.

  • I smiled throughout this entire video and by the end of it my face could NOT stop smiling!!!! Positively DELIGHTFUL!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you Stevie for adding so much joy to the lives, hearts and souls of your loyal fans. Much love and many happy kisses to you!!!

  • This is the epitome of why everyone always fell in love with Stevie. Yes, she is so beautiful, but she has such an incredible spirit as well, which always came out in the songs she wrote.

  • I guess her hair DOES flow in the breeze naturally

  • 2:44 perfect phone bell break

  • Oh to be that make up artist and be there... at that time... with those voices...

  • Stevie and her back up Lori (?) start to sing a note at 2:40 and it is so perfect that after they are done the whole room rings and echos and Stevie's eyes light up...check it out. Imagine being there to hear it up close! I have watched this video about 100 times! LOL I LOVE this version! Thanks.

  • @LOVEONEANOTHR Right on!

  • @OriginalSinner Apparently it use to happen to Fleetwood Mac--this echo--and they said it sounded like another person in the room so when it happened they named it--can't remember the name though-like George or something. Funny eh?

  • @LOVEONEANOTHR very cool. I like to hear the "stripped" down versions of songs. Sometimes the soul of the song get obscured by the production on the album.

  • @LOVEONEANOTHR Uh, that was a phone ringing.... Stevie was almost breaking down in laughter @ the timing....

  • @LOVEONEANOTHR LOL actually, that was a phone actually ringing in the background. :) Listen closely.

  • What would Simon Cowell think if she came onto American Idol and auditioned? Would she blow him away?

Me, I think she's a goddess. Her voice out there so raw and bare, sublime.

  • Comment removed

  • Sublime

  • At work on vid response, love this so.

  • gives me goosebumps every time.

  • Does not another have the move or up tune of the song of her of the version of up-tempo of this?

  • I agree but I dont think it would sound this good. She was 20(?) years younger when this was recorded and if you listen to some of her more current tracks, her voice just doesnt have the crispness, clarity and strength that she had then. JMO What a shame, an opportunity lost.

  • This is the most beautiful pic or footage of Miss Stevie. Wild Heart should be re-recorded to this version 1000% better!

  • one of the videos on youtube i can watch over and over again. love it

  • Excellent view of her in the see through dress. First the zoom in. The cameraman notices the nips in the lens. BAM shoves the camera up to kill the view! There goes the lovely eye candy. Gone forever..... : (

  • whenever im feeling sad i just watch this and am instantly uplifted. thankyou stevie.

  • She's so beautiful. :)

    I adore her.

I wonder what she was planning on this day..

  • A band named the Futurebirds does a really good cover of this version of this song.

  • @austinc151 Its not so great. And this is the second time its been posted. You must be in the band or related to someone in the band.

  • *This.* This is the reason that music won't die, even in this age of cynicism, of shallow and talentless “entertainers”. That pure joy! She is not putting on a show. Something inside her wants to sing, has to sing. How beautiful this is. And I want to believe that millions are doing the same, 30 years later, in dressing rooms, in bath tubs, in their rooms, everywhere. Sing just because you can.

  • Does anyone know the chords for this? I've learnt the riff but would love to play the whole song!

  • @nikkiliz18 She is singing along to an instrumental version of "Can't Go Back" by Fleetwood Mac (from Fleetwood Mac's "Mirage" album), so if you can find the chords for that song, they should match up.

  • @sake008 Whoa, nice observation! That's really interesting that Wild Heart went so well with that melody!

  • is this really stevie???

  • Look at how excited sh get's when this song comes up

  • 2:18 "there they are." showing stevie the goosebumps she got. i would have goosebumps too if stevie was signing a foot infront of me :)

  • makes me want to be a make up artist!

  • """O MY GOD"""Can she be anymore adorable...If i could have just 1 wish.I would love to sit and sing a song with stevie nicks...Please call me, my phone # is 408-ya-right:] O well,I can do a pretty good karaoke and i'm a 47 year old man...Go be young,go have fun...And blame it on your wild♥♥

  • You very rarely see any clips of Stevie so relaxed and at ease and I agree this would have made a great recording "fantastic"

  • She's so cute in this video!

  • she is just how i feel,so happy and full of life

  • This is perfect.....

  • this is a real treasure!

  • Seriously, greatest video ever. I've loved this woman for so many years now and every day fall back in love with her creativity, beauty, and wisdom. I love when you know a Stevie song for years, and you think you know what it means until it just finally clicks and you get that feeling in your gut, like butterflies lol. Or am I just that lame of a chiffonhead?

  • The best ever,I got the word Stevie nicksacroo my back.An a austic boy in florida freaked out and wanyted to talk about hr,it was awesome

  • The best ever

  • What song is she singing in the beginning?

  • @macdancer101 She is singing the Mirage album preview tapes...was Love in Store and the music is Can't go back.

  • 2:15

  • and God gave us the gift....Stevie,,,,Thank you for her harmony...her beauty and her pure heart of love! Wildheart.....her sister Lori is awesome too!

  • Seven IDIOTS!!!! What the HELL is wrong with those 7 haters??? This is one of the BEST candid Stevie moments ever! I would have loved to be that "fly on the wall"! Poor Robin, can't even finish Stevie's make-up...not that Stevie needed much anyway! She's too cute...

  • No stage mic or mixers, not even a stage...just pure talent mixed with passion..awesome view of such a Lady

  • Comment removed

  • Why didn't she record it this way???

  • @smitherschad exactly,why??? this version is lovely!

  • @smitherschad so agreed, this version of wild heart is so much different and better than the one on the album... no idea why she didnt go with it..

  • @pellebee sounds like Can't Go Back

  • @pellebee The innocence shines through her in the most amazing way..I have watched this over and over and over and still it touches my heart and soul in ways I can not describe ..Thank you Stevie for taking me back to a time and place of Love...Blessings to you my Love...

    Ron

  • <3 <3 <3

  • This has to be the most amazing thing I have ever seen. She is so beautiful and radiant. Artists do not come like this anymore. How beautiful is her voice? Absolutely flawless.

  • Why are there dislikes?

    Beautiful<33

  • I'm an old man, but I would like to see this every day for the rest of my life, Stevie is a rare person for this day and age, simply stunning and gifted.

  • @pjetenere

    I couldn't agree more! I've LOVED Stevie since i was 5 years old!! Now i'm 41

  • ...she s like a pearl, so RARE, like a diamond so PERFECT, like gold so RICH, like chocolat so SWEET, STEVIE NICKS is a synonym of an ANGEL to us, thanks friend , love ya xxxxxxxxxxx THANks for the upload never seen this b4 thanks thanks........

  • Yep !

  • Yep !

  • marilee is innocent

  • how to dress well brought me here

  • i love this "raw" version so much, i personally feel it sounds better then the recorded version out... this video makes me happy whenever i watch it, and Stevie Nicks, is just so beautiful and happy looking in it, can watch it every day and never tire of it

  • This is so straight and pure.... <3

  • I love this! No electronic enhancements, no fake drums-beats, no damn Auto-Tune... just pure, God-given talent. Gorgeous voice... and Stevie looks beyond beautiful here!!

  • STEVIE IS SO DAMN REAL AND GENUINE......I JUST LOVE THAT ABOUT HER SO MUCH!!!

  • Damn. Why do I keep coming back to watch this video? Doesn't she just look like the kind of girl every young boy dreams of meeting someday?

  • I could say she's beautiful here. But I don't know if that's really enough. When I was in my early teens, Stevie was the woman of my dreams. After watching this video, that same feeling has come over me, even stronger than ever. WOW. Grown men in their 40's aren't supposed to feel that way about a woman they'll never meet, are they? Damn.

  • This is one of the rare videos of a true artist, in a spontaneous performance, that just can't be captured in a studio....the recording doesn't have anything on this version. I keep coming back to this clip, and so nice to know the story attached to it. I would love to be able to play this, and am wondering if anyone has the guitar tabs/piano sheets for it....can't find anywhere online....PLEASE!

  • I'd love to be the make up artist! I'd be singing along. I love how the lady tries to put make up on Stevie and Stevie just keeps singing...haha. Her voice is just great...especially here...no special tricks or anything like that...just Stevie. I saw this forever ago and decided to check and see if it was still on here. Loooove this. Thanks for posting.

  • please make me 19 so i can do it all again and i promise i wont waste it

  • I HOPE that this wonderful video will never be removed. I LOVE IT!! Please do all of the Stevie fans a huge favor & keep it on for us to enjoy. It honestly doesnt get much better than THIS. Thanks SO much for posting this. It's truly terrific!!!!!

  • Wow, so the recording sucked the heart and life out of a really soulful and great song.

  • What's the song playing at the end of the video? Anyone have an idea?

  • @SuperRandomJelly2 Nevermind...figured it out...."Wish you were here"

  • those 7 dislikes or if more are to come, is actually not a number. Those are idiots hiding behind a number.

  • I've always loved Stevie Nicks' voice but watching impromptu and relaxed rehearsals it really comes out what a marvellous voice she has.

  • mommapuddin is right, its "Cant go Back"...check it out on here.

  • Oh thats amazing. I love hearing great live music. But I don't get it? How can it be so wonderful without auto-tune and a huge fire shooting dance explosion?

  • what is the song she's singing first?

  • Comment removed

  • @kaseydawn7 The second part of that is Love in Store. I've only heard Christine sing it.

  • I actually want to marry her after listening to this!

  • Obviously taken from the song "Can't Go Back" by Lindsey Buckingham.

  • @mommapuddin Wow, you are absolutely right, I listened to it on here...thanks!

  • so sweet

  • If you search Robin Snyder Anderson, look for in her own words dot com--its several of Stevies interviews that tell the whole story.

  • Just FYI, the make-up artist is in fact Stevie's close friend Robin Snyder, who sadly died of leukemia just over a year after this was filmed. She also left behind a one-week-old baby son who Stevie felt obliged to try and look after, so she married Robin's widower. Unsurprisingly, the marriage was short-lived and is, Stevie says, one of the biggest regrets she has in her life. I think it's great to see them happy here, though!

  • @Dandylozza Thank you for letting us know that Robin is the makeup artist in this video clip. I just felt this video clip was something special the moment I watched it -I can't explain it but it was just a certain feeling that there was more to this video clip than being a great clip. I do know the story about Robin but I have never seen a photo of her and Stevie together until now. Thank you again for posting this info to share with us all.

  • @5954ldydi that isnt robin.... if you look at the clip of Stevie doing her make up in 1977, she calls Robin over, she is clearly a totally different person.

  • @gypsydust This is from 1981, I think. The long perm Robin had on the Rumours tour was gone by now. But I and many other people have always believed it's her. There are several pics of her with this sort of hair from this time period, and the glimpse you get of her profile looks like her to me. We can agree to disagree, tho.

  • @Dandylozza Robin Passed in 1981, Wild Heart was released in 1983...

  • @gypsydust No, Robin died in October 1982 and this is from the photo shoot for the 'Queen of Rock and Roll' Rolling Stone cover that came out with the launch of Bella Donna, which was in July 1981. You are right about the 1983 date for The Wild Heart, tho.

  • The 7 dislikers must be deaf lol?

  • Thinking of the gal who's applying Stevie's makeup...right at the beginning (before the music kicked in)...it would kinda suck to hear Stevie belt it out like that from one foot away. But what talent, huh? We're all so lucky that she found the gang that would become Fleetwood Mac. If she hadn't, maybe we'd never know that such a voice ever existed. Hers is one of the great singing voices of the rock era, IMHO.

  • oh my, NO make up required !!

  • 46 and I still got a crush on this girl

  • @smann1128 ---I don't blame you brotha, she's an angel on this earth...

  • Is this real life??

  • @ginapulai yes, it was not staged

  • @Seanriver316 :) I know. It's just too good to be true.

  • The so-called "divas" of today could take a few lessons from her.

  • I t always amazes me how she could have her voice so clean instantly cut right into her part perfectly!!! And with so much texture in voice she always had such clean key/!! Was always glad for her !!! If had to have someone special in pop/commercial music to keep us all trying and lfie going easy .. it was Stevie's gift to help!!! <3

  • Stevie looks happy here! :)

  • u r what kills me stevie u r the best

  • She was so young and had so much strength and enthusiasm in her voice

  • This makes me smile when I'm feeling down. She really should re-work this one.

  • i love 0.22-0.30 when stevie's like a little kid trying to show her mum something amazing and the womans like" yes dear, thats lovely, but I need to powder your face"

  • Wow! I wish I was her makeup artist!
