Hey Carly you said you like tea time what's your favorite tea mines strawberry kiwi by the way I watched part of the doctor who to today it looks great
And do you think if Yoko and John wouldn't have gotten together that he wouldn't have been killed? I personally don't like Yoko... But that'd because I have a crush on Lennon... But I have a bigger one on Ringo *
that is sooo cool!!! I really like Dr Who and so does my Dad. In fact we have a toy Dalek that when you press the button he says Exterminate! this is going to be really fun the whole Beatles and Dr Who thing.
Lots of Dr Who fans like the Beatles and vice-versa. Don't know why, must be to do with having high standards. The opening lines from 'I Am The Walrus' were quoted in 'The Three Doctors' (1972) and the regeneration from the fifth to the sixth Doctor (1984) was influenced by the orchestral crescendo from 'A Day In The Life'. You didn't miss much with 'Lennon Naked', IMO. It portrayed the other Beatles - especially Paul - as morons in Lennon's grumpy shadow.
"I've never seen Lennon naked" I should hope so, considering you weren't born until 10 and a half years after he died! And also, next time I see you, I'm gonna be like "OH MAH GAWD, YOU'RE A BEATLE SCRUFF!!!!!! CAN I HAVE YOUR AUTOGRAPH???" and then you can say you were recognized as a Beatles scruff. Bam. Winning. I love how you were like "my mom watches these videos" when you and I both know she wouldn't care. I should start watching your videos more. It entertains me.
@Vuhhnessaaa193 Hahahahahaha when I was editing this, I thought that xD I was like "huh....that sounds awkward". And, you DIDN'T DO THAT. You tried to bang down my room door like a nut. Hahaha, she wouldn't. Then again, she didn't say anything to me.....Maybe she hasn't seen it yet? AND YOU SHOULD WATCH MORE OF THEM.
@jupiterShoezR4Me I would recommend the 1996 TV Movie of Dr Who starring Paul McGann as the (8th) Doctor. It is set in San Francisco. Also, try to catch 'Torchwood' (an anagram of 'Doctor Who') if you can.
@jupiterShoezR4Me If you just want something to watch, I'd say start with the Ninth Doctor, because he's the beginning of "New-Who" (but, the 8th doctor/Movie should work too!) But, if you want to know what's happening right now ASAP, I say start with Matt Smith's Doctor (11) with his very first episode.
@NezMaccaHam I agree. Both the McGann TV Movie of 96 and 'Rose' from 05 were designed to refamiliarize the audience with Dr Who as well as introduce it to a new audience. However, I would not recommend the current series. I like Matt Smith very much, but the stories are so rapid-fire and confusing that they are in danger of confusing and alienating existing fans, never mind casual and new viewers. It would be like recommending Revolution 9 to someone who'd never heard The Beatles.
@jupiterShoezR4Me Whoa that's going way back! Haha, I jump all over the place- I started with the tenth Doctor (close the end of his reign as Doctor), haphazardly made my way through new-who, and I just started watching the Fourth Doctor xD Enjoy :)
@jupiterShoezR4Me If you're already familiar with the very first Doctor, then you should have no problems jumping in anywhere in either the new or classic series. The first episode - An Unearthly Child - is a TV sci-fi classic. It was transmitted on Saturday, 23rd of November, 1963 - the day after JFK's assassination AND the day after the release of the LP 'With The Beatles'. The Daleks appeared a month later. In Britain, Beatlemania and Dalekmania went hand in hand, or is that hand in plunger?
@outofthegreenmist im on that episode where theyre like bout to die of radiation and the daleks sent susan to go get the medicine and shes all running slow and stuff. and they said that theyre guna die by the time she gets back and theyre guna use the medicine for themselves ( selfish much??). but yea i like to know whats going on first b4 i just go jumpin in to any episode, but ill try . thanks :D
@jupiterShoezR4Me The veteran horror-movie star Peter Cushing played the Doctor in a condensed version of that story which, like 'Rose' or the TV Movie from 1996, was designed to short-circuit the need for a back story and introduce new fans to the key elements of the Tardis, the Doctor and his companions as heroes and the Daleks as villains. Some purist fans don't like it, but I have a soft spot for both it and the 1966 sequel. Hope you enjoy discovering the worlds of Doctor Who.
Weellllll there's Ringo Starr Keith moon Marky or Tommy Ramone the guy from journey and ummmmm thts all I could think the 1 from the stones I think Brian jones? Idk
I've seen Lennon Naked. It was on BBC1 a while ago. I don't think it's very good, bits of it are very tacky and some of the acting is awful. It's interesting though. And it focuses on John and Yoko more than John and The Beatles so there is a massive gap between it and Nowhere boy. Nowhere Boy is it's supirior by far.
I've heard of Lennon Naked! The thing that made me a little irritated is that from what I seen, besides one part, his hair was '69 era Lennon without the beard. From when he met Yoko to the Plastic Ono band's first release. So, that just bothered me, nit picking, I know. I reallllllyyyyy wanna see it though!
