I gotta say, I love the transformers movies. Transformers 2 is a visual masterpiece just like 300. Storyline isnt that impressive but fuck that, like you said, shit is god damn blowing up all over the place. Not that great graphics and visuals can allways save a movie (for instance, I fucking hate Avatar with a murderous passion)

TF2 at least, for me, was a step up from the first film for one small reason.

The parts were you saw Transformers talking to each other, in particular Megatron and Starscream.

Everything else could just swing from a rope.

Everything exploded in the movie and u think it's boring. It had everything to do with transformers since there were vehicles that TRANSFORMED. If Transformers 3 doesn't have Unicron as the Antagonist, I'm not watching it. The first Transformers movie was alright, but Transformers 2 just ignored all that is Transformers and made their own... Like Dragonball Evolution, but I can't compare them because I lost my arm in the theater from rage and anger. Truthfully, i thought the story was garbage and so was the acting. The action scenes were aight, but as an animator myself I felt like the movements of the transformers were not very good. There was no weight in their movement and that really bugged me cuz they're supposed to be massively heavy. i also thought the sound FX could have been better. i don't know man, I just couldn't get into it.
