LCD, OLED, etc. will keep getting better, but right now CRT is still superior in quality. Trust me, it's easy to forget how much better CRT is after you've gotten used to using your LCD. I hooked up my 24" CRT again and couldn't believe how I had gotten used to the pixelation of my LCD, lol. The only reason I went back to my LCD is the CRT's heat--my A/C was having trouble keeping up here in the desert.
@miikhailov I have 2 CRT's that are 19" and can do 2048x1536. Shame i didn't have a third because Source Games looked amazing on them :) best CRT's on the planet. Were made by LG and if you lowered the res to something more normal you could get 100Hz. Far better for competitive gaming, but I'll still never go back to using CRT full time.

@kulpreetg with my i7 2600k, 16GB of 1600Mhz DDR3, and the 6970 2GB, running at enthusiast settings max AA, I get around 45-50FPS. When I posted that most before I think I had the i5 2500k, but I just upgraded to the 2600k and OC'd it to 3.9Ghz.

Then one night I moved the two side ones in front of the center and closed in the bezels on the front monitor. I then angled the side monitors to where when I looked left or right I was seeing the start button closely on left and the clock/system tray on right. What happens next is I turned off the lights and turned on BFBC2 and left this life for a life of combat.

With StarCraft II it won't be useful, even if it works. Best of on a smaller square resolution, spacebar spam + mini-map clickage with microing units.
You won't lag in wow, mby sc2 since it's a game with my more advanced graffics than wow. I think u should go for a card in the 69-series to get better fps and still have gr8 fps when u go 3 screens. It looks great on the right screen, due to the angle of the camera recording. Also, it does look great with low quality. What got to me is that it's a Radeon card being reviewed and it shows "The way NVIDIA it's meant to be played." LOL! XD
@psychonaut25 As far as I know, HDMI is classed as DV-I and the card only supports 2 DV-I outputs and one DP (DisplayPort) output. So you can either do DVI + HDMI + DP (or use DP=>VGA adapter)
or you can do DVI + DVI + DP (again, you can use adapter)

@ImPulSivE113 Won't benefit much for WoW, you get some stretched side view. Might be a lil' handy in PvP, but just a tiny lil' bit. PvE you can see most of the room the bossfights happen with a single screen. Just check my vids.
With StarCraft II it won't be useful, even if it works. Best of on a smaller square resolution, spacebar spam + mini-map clickage with microing units.

You won't lag in wow, mby sc2 since it's a game with my more advanced graffics than wow. I think u should go for a card in the 69-series to get better fps and still have gr8 fps when u go 3 screens. @psychonaut25 As far as I know, HDMI is classed as DV-I and the card only supports 2 DV-I outputs and one DP (DisplayPort) output. So you can either do DVI + HDMI + DP (or use DP=>VGA adapter)
or you can do DVI + DVI + DP (again, you can use adapter)

If you had a 20in CRT, and a 40In CRT, you thought you where tough shit with the 40in, but the 40in had a horrible picture.Then bring in the old 800x600 monitors, They had beautiful picture, not because of contrast which was the same as the 40IN, but because of the pixel pitch, which is the relation between size of screen, and number of pixels.
