The only reason we put so much effort into Iraq was for the resources we could take while we were there. If it wasn't for oil, we would have hardly cared up until the 9/11 incident, which we used as fuel to in fact corrupt children into joining our military to get them to fight the war, so the government could continue to gain resources while using the "War on Terrorism" as a clever slogan and cover to make America look good, which technically we were... kind of...

Obama didn't start it, but the stimulus package and all the bail-outs have done nothing to stop it. Do some research before you start posting your uninformed opinion about something. @froggles21 Obama claimed that if we passed the stimulus unemployment would never go above 8%. It currently stands at 9.7 % and it was even higher but the temporary census jobs have driven numbers down over the past few months. Once the census is over those people will be unemployed again. Unemployment will be at lease in low double digits again.
