  • Salif Keita!

    Sabe el viento enamorado

    abrazarse a una sola voz

    cuando tus microtonos

    desatan huracanes de luz.

    (Danhir Salomón)

  • Respect.

  • It 's so nice, I love it.

  • Enjoy the lyrics.

If you have the gift of singin then you only need a guitar and your voice.

    Simply the best.

  • @chozi001 Thank you so much for the translation of the lyrics to this beautiful song.

  • My love My love told me My love Said that… She doesn’t want love She said she wants marriage She wants marriage She doesn’t know what it is She doesn’t want love I told her I don’t want marriage If she doesn’t want love … … … … …
  • Who will help me? Who will help me? I went out last night In the moon light I went out To the river I thought of my love What did I hear? What did I hear? It’s making a lot of noise … The river is crying It’s making noise Fish are “jumping” in the river Who will help me? Who will help me? Childbearing women Women who bear children My mothers Forgive me My mother is a woman Forgive me Forgive me
  • One bears a child That child doesn’t gain from you You might get a child And not gain from that child You might not bear a child But gain from that child Who will help me? Who will help me? Who will help me? Who will help me? Honey I fell in love with you … I’m in love with you Honey I fell in love with you … I’m in love with you Honey everyone has his love … I’m in love with you Honey I fell in love with you … I’m in love with you Girl I fell in love with you … I’m in love with you.

  • Friends in Bamako introduced me to S. Keita, and i had the chance to see him in the streets of Bamako as well as live in Istanbul. Ana na ming is his best song and i am very lucky to understand the words.

  • remember my dad loved his music he loved this song sound like a gr8 song would love to no what he singing about but its very touching

  • awesome...thanks Salif, this song brings me in my dreams...

  • i love this song...

  • I was in a concert by Salif here in Santiago, Chile. It was amazing, i'll never forget it. Thanks Salif for your music!!!

  • I'm Nigerian and have no idea what Salif is talking about but i love the music with a passion, Nigeria do gr8 music but i'm not sure which i prefer- Nigerian or Mali music, u guys do gr8 music, there's som'n about mali music, i think its the blend btw arabic and sub saharan music.

i live in England at the moment but am somewhere in Africa on business and i was woken this morning when i heard my neighbour playing this song. i just had to find it on the internet!

  • @ogijoo

I do not think there is a blend between Mali music and Arabic. Just because people are Muslim there does not mean that their culture came from the Arabs. Their music is original just as those of many other Africans. Before the Arabs invaded Africa, the natives were already making music.

  • @risbo3000

well i think there is a blend geographically, not by religion or cultural influence. Mali shares border with Algeria so its more likely than not that u'll find some similarities in their music. ok, maybe i shld've said a blend btw Western Africa and Northern Africa. anyways, i think Mali music is unique and original, proudly African and i love them!

  • merci salif ta zik penètre au plu profon de mw,grand merci
