the crows group up like that every year here in Nova Scotia Canada. we have watched them for over 10 years doing this. it's not new. they get togather for about a week every year. it has to do with there mateing.

This isn't unusual behavior. in fact, it happens every day. Looks like it's dusk. If it's winter then these crows are headed for their winter roost (nests). If it's summer, then they are probably headed for a "conversation pit" which is just an area where they congregate to socialize. I live in Seattle where the Univ. of Washington does a lot of research on crows. if you can follow them to where they gather, it's an amazing sight when they are all standing around talking.

That is weird, I've studied animal behavior and I can tell you just my first observation is they are flying away from something. Danger or a predator. Or perhaps even something more sinister (you know what I mean). Did anything significant happen within a 50 mile radius of your area? Flying north during the winter is NOT normal behavior.
But flyin north in November? I have lived in Ky. all my life. Crows around here normally stick around for the winter. I havn't seen one in over a month. The geese also seem to be flying the wrong way. I have lived in these hills for 29 years. And this one has been the strangest yet.

looked back at the date of this upload. there was a coronal hole on the sun facing earth that blasted us with geometric disturbances. The magnetic north was flippin around in other words. Probably drove the crows mad trying to figure out what was going on! It will happen again and again!

I'm a card carrying American Indian. I moved several miles away for 3 years. I always fed birds. When I noticed 2 tame birds with same personality as finches from years ago. I left a comment on another video, but last week, before the warm up here in Indiana, the Canadian geese have been flying around in the afternoons and evenings in huge non-V, almost "drunken" flocks as if they have no idea where they are going or what they are doing. West Central Indiana, USA.
You know what flocks of birds aren't a rare phenomenon but I personally can vouch for any of these incidents that something strange is going on. I've seen the birds in my area acting quite peculiar in recent days. Huge flocks of birds flying like they're lost or confused at times as they try to fly North. Morning songs are off key or more chromatic in scale. It's strange...
From what I see the sky is not black with them. Seems to be a little drama going on with the dude who is taping this. Birds flock - doesn't mean something horrible is about to happen. Something must be a threat to them. Usually, this group behavior is for Mass Migration. In this case, there is no annual migration. There is something that is causing them to group in unheard of numbers for safety. You see this behavior when under attack by Hawks etc. It remains a mystery, but this phenomena is in response to a real threat. Its still a mystery what that could be, but with the other Deaths, there must be something real that we are unaware of that is causing this...
saw a few 100 crows and lots of swans yesterday acting crazy in the sky above the town where i live (nuremberg germany) it all was over pretty quick .
He has said that other animals were able to tell when there was going to be earth changes. I believe this could be a mechanism for the crows to get out of the area. But then again, they may be passing though your area from the danger zone.

Crows roost together in the fall and winter, and their flocks can be in the millions of birds. We don't know why they roost together at times. Guesses include safety, mating, impending danger, and warmth. This is actually pretty rare.

looked back at the date of this upload. there was a coronal hole on the sun facing earth that blasted us with geometric disturbances. The magnetic north was flippin around in other words. Probably drove the crows mad trying to figure out what was going on! It will happen again and again!

And on the wintertime their's big flocks flying too about that time, looking for food!.
I don't c here anything strange!.
Need hard facts. Some reports about (for example) strange sounds, odours or other phenomenons capable explain us accidents of the mass bird's death!.
I heared about strange sounds in the USA. Saw enybody some mass bird's death in those regions?.

@oron42 im guessing you didnt see my other comment (it wasnt directed at you like the other one) there was a cornal hole on the sun facing the earth that blasted us with geometric disturbances, which means the magnetic north was flippin around to different place on the date of this video taping. that will make birds act differently.

@oron42 lol just saw that you are from poland, so that pretty much says it all. what happens in poland doesnt mean it happens the same way here. There are big differences just in northern united states and southern united states. If thats normal for your country, great, but its not normal here. Its also different in the west u.s. and east. u.s. so please stop trying to lecture someone who LIVES HERE about whats normal HERE!

It's not important where from i am.I wasn't precise. There are of course Corvidae (zoological) but not Rooks.There are, probably, in majority Common Ravens (Northern Ravens are in the USA and in my country).Their behavior is everywhere maby not identical but very similar.I'm sure!.Sorry man, but u looking for and WANT belive in something strange.It's alarmism.
If u watching real danger take an interest in level of radiation from Daici and Fukushima in Your's country. But not in official reports.

@oron42: Yeah! During the time when birds where dropping out of sky I heard a big bang following what sounded like steam blowing. This was at 3am and lasted one week.

That was not sonic bum from military jets and not thunders or any industrial or urban. In that times, of course, no one think about mass birds death. But it was very strange.

I'm a card carrying American Indian. I moved several miles away for 3 years. I always fed birds. When I noticed 2 tame birds with same personality as finches from years ago. I asked later"How could thease birds find me again when I moved back?" Then one of those rare times I got one of my answers. The rocks I have, they can tell where I am cause of the collection I have of Blue stone. So something is causing them to lose this ability to navigate. There could be somthing they consider a threat.

It's Native American land that may be the clue, look into the areas history , the running of lay lines/ magnetic areas , ancient buriel grounds. Note- why are they flying around at sunset most birds are usually settling down to sleep they are obviously disturbed.

I left a comment on another video, but last week, before the warm up here in Indiana, the Canadian geese have been flying around in the afternoons and evenings in huge non-V, almost "drunken" flocks as if they have no idea where they are going or what they are doing. West Central Indiana, USA.

You know what flocks of birds aren't a rare phenomenon but I personally can vouch for any of these incidents that something strange is going on. I've seen the birds in my area acting quite peculiar in recent days. Huge flocks of birds flying like they're lost or confused at times as they try to fly North. Morning songs are off key or more chromatic in scale. It's strange...

From what I see the sky is not black with them. Seems to be a little drama going on with the dude who is taping this. Birds flock - doesn't mean something horrible is about to happen. We live in a culture of doom. Just look at all the doomsday prophets on youtube alone. It is like people are going to be unhappy if something horrible does not happen. Sad, very sad.

That seems normal. Reminded me of African Safari where you can see thousands or birds migrating or resting during the migration; I cannot jump into conclusion that something dangerous is happening

@streeser1 Thats what I was going to say, I live 2 1/2 hours from this City in Fargo ND. We predicted this year if no more freak storms we might get through the flood. Then bam as if someone wanted to get us we get hit with Thunder/slush/ice/blizzard just freaky. Now they said we could possibly break the flood record of 42 ft. Now that they say that we will get hit with a blizzard in April, mark my word as its happened.
Call the University of MN as they answer questions. We lived there in StPaul

I saw this same thing in Columbus, Ohio a couple weeks ago. Never seen a murder of crows that large here in Ohio. Seemed strange but I wasn't ready to jump to any conclusions.

They must be finding food and hanging out. They're not acting agressive toward one another. So that's not crazy. It's like a flying city of birds. They're not at war, except with the elements and not in crisis. Probably looking forward to Springtime when the bugs start walking around, and the pickings more abundant. It's hard to know the bird experience, although you seem to be getting a grip on it. Caww Kaw kaw.

Something must be a threat to them. Usually, this group behavior is for Mass Migration. In this case, there is no annual migration. There is something that is causing them to group in unheard of numbers for safety. You see this behavior when under attack by Hawks etc. It remains a mystery, but this phenomena is in response to a real threat. Its still a mystery what that could be, but with the other Deaths, there must be something real that we are unaware of that is causing this...

He has said that other animals were able to tell when there was going to be earth changes. I believe this could be a mechanism for the crows to get out of the area. But then again, they may be passing though your area from the danger zone.

Earthquake- There is a guy by the name of Jim Burkland, he predicted the earthquake in San Fransisco during the World Series. One of his main indicators was animal running away. He would look up missing dogs and cats and use it as an indicator.

Crows roost together in the fall and winter, and their flocks can be in the millions of birds. We don't know why they roost together at times. Guesses include safety, mating, impending danger, and warmth. This is actually pretty rare.

there is nothing unusual about this. birds always fly north in spring, except in southern hemisphere, they fly south.
