lucho herrera fue el mejor ciclista de colombia en el mundo, ahora estamos entrando en la proxima era del ciclismo colombiano en donde estan grandes promesas como, darwin atapuma, robinson chalapud entre otros. el departamento que mas aporta al buen cilcismo colombiano es nariño.

Cuanta falta haces Lucho Herrera, fuiste grande y sigues siendo el mas grande ciclista colombiano: unico aficionado en ganar una etapa del Tour de Francia y Campeon de la vuelta de España de 1987. Le diste a Colombia , inmensa alegria y esperanza.Te extrañamos.

Ok, i agree partially with drunkensailor112, not allways the KOM is the best climber, somethimes it's just a guy that is so far beyond in GC, that the peloton allows him to break away in the mountain stages, and then he cracks in the final climb... we have seen that a million times

That day, herrera needed hinault to win that stage, hinault did not need herrera, he was going to win the tour that day, whatever herrera wanted to do. hinault could win any stage he wanted, flat,mountain,time trial, he was the best RIDER that tour
