I believe this because even though the M5 has more horsepower, the weight difference is great.

And, because i own a clk55, and i took a M5 easy.

Exactly, it's the weight difference. E39 M5 weighed 4030 pounds and had 394 hp = 10.23 pounds/horsepower. CLK55 weighed 3450 pounds and had 349 horsepower = 9.88 pounds/horsepower. Advantage: CLK.

M5's gearing was a bit more agressive, but not enough to bridge the gap. The two cars are very close, though, so don't make any mistakes! :)

Hmm, I think most people would call my posting FOUR videos with four wins "living it", but maybe you live in some other world, lol...but here's a suggestion: post a video of YOU beating a 208 CLK55 in an E39 or STFU.

I've got FOUR races w/FOUR WINS posted here, idiot, *and* the owners of these cars (who, unlike you, are both really nice guys) have both vouched for it on the BMW fourm.

So post some vids of you beating one, and we'll see how YOU "live it", moron.
