Afro Samurai was a breath of fresh air for me. Honestly I'm still surprised that this is considered an anime its so very different from what your typical anime is. No silly harems, unnecessary comedic scenes or anything. Just a straight out gore fest with ballin' music. The story is not top tier but it was better than I expected and did make me feel for the characters a bit. People may hate but Afro is a good anime through and through. I want Samuel L. Jackson to dub more, he's the shit :)
