@Jerrygenius1 Correct, but this is just due to salty corrosive environment. ANY unit does this in this environment. MOST, (NOT all) but most beach houses are all electric. The only way one would not be all electric is if it had on-site propane, which most of them don't have room for.
@xctome Yeppers she is pretty rusty. When we first got to the house last year and I saw that I was like HOLY CRAP!!! There is NO way that thing could stand a chance in this heat! But sure enough, it would keep it at 68*F if you asked it to.
If that is a gas dryer exhausting into the condenser, the hydrocarbons are also at work here. By-products from gas appliances are very corrosive.
