It’s a bit pointless! I don’t mean to be mean but windows are pone to receiving vibrations. If any loud sound object is sounding outside and if you place your hands on the window/glass you’ll feel the vibration. You don’t see cinemas doing ridiculous tests because they don’t have glass windows. If you’re windows vibrate badly id sort it, because it’s a distraction, when watching a film, hearing a buzzing sound.
@EmpireLS56KW many things are pointless and most of them are in youtube so this fits nicely in. ;D Like the description sayes 'its a little test' of its power on low level sounds from music tracks. Not just pink noise tracks. Small sub's in same price range cannot do match this one. Didint have the same effect in my living room. They did sound nice and where ok but i wanted a "bit" more cojones as to say. xD

the pc 12 is very good, what most people dont realise is that the plus and ultra models are SUPPOSED to be used in BIG ROOMS, ive got a pc-13 ultra in a 3X3 meter room and the room completely drowns in bass and overdoves my other speakers, i feel its to big, and have to turn down gain to about 9 o clock, or below, pc plus 12 should be MORE than enough
@Slimchaddi so true. My room is about 4x5 meter's and i also have gain in 9 o clock in movie use. Giving a nice kick in gunfire or explosion etc. or when playing music loud. Normally i'ts just between the 0 and the 1 line and its not overpowering speakers then. Also got the Ultra for the insanity and hoping that i would not need a nastier or more powerfull sub any time soon.
@Terrordr hos long have you had your sub? ive had mine in about 2 months, and im finally beginning to realize its awosemeness, it just makes me wonder how it would be with 2 ultras =D so im definately going to buy another one when my pocket allows it =D

@Terrordr well, if im going to buy another one i would have to move out before i get thrown out! i had moonstone and circuits activated both by Bass Mekanik on about 100 db today, and that shaked up quite nicely! but it couldnt compare to the punch ultra provided on Wolfgang Gartner - Undertaker original mix! it was insane i got it up to 110 db STABLE!!! and after that my speakers started sounding rashing! they gave up before the sub! and the sub looked like it was just playing! enormous punch!
@Terrordr If you want to see the window constantly vibrate play pink noise from the lowest point to the subs rough there about cut off range or better still a series of sine wave tones from the lowest 5Hz might not do much 10Hz maybe 18Hz most likely (25Hz 30Hz 40Hz 50Hz 60Hz defiantly) 70Hz 80Hz 90Hz might start to minimize a bit.
Or cut a hole in the glass with special glass cutting tool and bolt the sub to the glass/window and play a few sine wave tones and watch the glass break and fall to the ground along with the sub. LOL
@EmpireLS56KW the window might break when i try to nail sub in it and probably wont hold it's weight either. ;D Windows do not vibrate when watching movies on 'movie volume' i use or when playing music little bit louder than normal listening. True it would be annoying and distracting to hear that buzzing noise when trying to enjoe nice movie. Its nice in movie volume levels to feel vibration in behind when sitting in sofa or feel the preasure in your chest but no buzzing.
Yea the sub is very nice for movie use. Sound might not be its best assets compared to other subwoofers but the power, low frequencys and just the madness combined = Awesome.
I have Amphion speakers all around. Large towers infront, small center, small backs.
Never heard amphion speakers before but they sound good on this video :) and yeah soundwise the PB13 is somewhat better.. but spreading low freq tunes its a winner sub!

thinking about buying the PC12 plus, I belive the PC 13 is a bit too much for my room.
Is there any reason to buy the PC13 instead of the PC12 considering small romsize?

Well the few differences are in specs. PC13 goes lower and has more amp.power but basically there the same. Of course its also a bit smaller.
If your going to move at some point and have a larger room. I think the PC12 will be enough for it as well.
