if u dont run yor PS3 Via HDMI with RGB Full Range & Super-White on then it will not look as good as it can do and yes PS3 will always downscale for Blu-Ray & PS3 games but DVD will upscale so make sure your TV has HDMI & can do 720p or 1080p as 1080i i find makes games look poor

I love the lack of Exclusive games on my system, I love having to wait to Install my game instead of playing it right away Simply for loading times that are a couple Seconds faster, I LOVE my PS3 crashing when I try to play GTA 4, I love having most of the Oblivion DLC Unavailable to me When everyone else has it, and most of all, I love that the biggest game for the PS3, Metal Gear solid 4, has 90 minute cut-Scenes, a Rediculous file size, and a Horrid Install time!

If you didn't know the 40GB wasn't BC, you're a noob. #2 EVERYTHING that they said, if it wasn't an out and out lie, was upgraded by a firmware update in less than 6 weeks after launch. #3 After gaining access to it (XMB) OS in-game, it will do ANYTHINGthe X360 does, but better. #4 COD4's graphics are so hard on th 360,it bricks it...not the PS3.
