I am an 11-year-old who was introduced to this song at Christmas by my Grandmother. And if you ask her, she'll tell you, by the end of the song, I was smiling. This is better than Ke$ha, Taylor Swift, and Hedley ANY day.
my mom just passed away tonight and she used to sing this to me when i was a little girl, i want to pass it to my daughter, thank you for posting this
I remember when I was a little girl I would sit on my mom's lap she would play this song over and over on Christmas Eve and she would lightly pat my back and sing this at the same time it would play and I would fall asleep on her lap! <3
My Dad had this on an 8-Track tape when I was a child - it reminds me of such happy times. I have sang this to my children every winter for years, and my youngest asks me to sing it to him at bedtime year round. It really is a beautiful song. Thank you for posting!
Every Sunday morning at 7:00 am, an infomercial with Christy Lane would come on.
And this is one of the songs that I would hear. But, the infomercial would never play the whole. song. I'm glad that you've uploaded it. Now I can hear all of it. Thanks for posting.
I played and sang along with the words to this song as I rubbed my precious mothers forehead. She always loved this song and the true meaning of it. Right in the middle of the song the disc player turned off with the force of something slaming down on top of it, then complete silience. Mom opened her eyes at that moment peacefully passed away. It was amazing, someone took her home to love her. God as my witness this is a true account of exactly what happened. I am changed forever
I am sorry for your loss but I am happy you have a miracle to carry in your heart. I lost my mother two years ago and like you, I have a special miracle to keep me mindful that our mothers are never truly gone. This is a very special song which is obviously way beyond special to you.
My grandmother used to sing this song to me years ago... Now I sing it to my baby sister, the entire thing! Boy, does it bring back wonderful memories...

@TheIceMan1225 The paranormal event was to comfort you with the knowledge that your mother’s guardian angel carried her to home

May your Mother RIP
God Bless and keep you safe.
I too nursed my mother thru her fight with cancer.
I truly miss her and my Father, I know they are at peace and some day we will all be together again.

This song sucks, as does her whole catalog. I'm glad she was run over by a bus last week. Good riddance.
