Just wondering what are those grey things in front of your amps? I assume they are something to absorb the sound but what is the name of them?? or what are they made of?
@jwalsh8 Haha, so true! I think its because we play EVERY Sunday! (In addition to youth worship services, events, conferences, etc. BUT we must always remember that is all for God's glory (:
@gabe13311 the klon is a high end botique overdrive pedal. Its a really warm sounding pedal. I would love one but they do break the bank at around $500 a pop. Hope that helps
DOODS!…I’m in a church worship team here in REDDING CA…close to BETHEL..anyways digging the rig..I just bought a AC15HW1X…with blue alnico’s …the amp is white and in the handwired series..it set me back 1800 bucks…but the tone is killer. The amp has been used on Jesus Cultures albums here in Redding’s studio..anyways dudes…keep worshipping/rockin
Could you guys do a demo of that Duesey CC that was laying on the ground. I would LOVE to hear a demo that highlights its clean / dirty sounds. I have looked all over you tube and haven't found a demo that is specific worship tones.
Or at least Jon Ross could you tell me the difference between the duesey and the gretsch. I am really curious about Dueseys ever since I started listening to the guitar recordings on the Jesus Culture stuff.
Hahah thanks so much for this video! I got a lot of good laughs out of it, you guys seem like a great team! Thanks for the insight into your rigs, hope to see more!
It's a lot clearer, more defined than the 57... It's like a 'highlight your slight fret noise' ha... Thicker/fuller on the low end and a good bit less harsh on the high end...
Why do you have the DD5 & 7 as well as the Eventide?

I love how John totally shot down the Ricky Bobby reference.

The cc tends a bit more drivey in general, it will get a lot more straight rocknroll and warm up pretty fast... Very easy neck to play...
I'm a gretsch guy thru and thru because they are always warm, never get to crazy always stay on the crunchy side even when pushing the drive...
I suggest trying a cc or starplayer out... That really is the only way to see what best fits you...
