I think my 5 year old could have shot a 300 on that pattern. You went from extreme outside to extreme inside and still the ball rolled into the pocket.

im watching this video, and im going to go with a highly doubt this one... you are a very inconsistant bowler, with a lack of balance and timing,, which i can tell by your release,, and your side step after your release, from you being off balance, and to the fact that your target on the boards went from 5 to 10 to 15 to 5 to 10,, you hardly hit your same mark,,, this would be more of a montage of shots thrown in to one film...

No way was that a 300 game... how many different balls can you put down the lane a still get a strike. 1st frame well off balance. 2nd frame played the ball right outside. 3rd frame played inside. Only 5 good balls played and that was the worst celebration for a 300 i ever heard.

its not hard to shot a 300 on ONE lane......easy to find a pattern... how bout you doing it by crossover on both lanes.... Makes it a bit harder and more of a true game

@Hegtri It's actually a generic fox hat I got at my first convention, really it's only purpose is to keep sweat from dripping down into my eyes or on the approach when I bowl, and it looks cooler than a sweatband ;)

well, in all honesty it could have been better. 2 really light hits lol those were lucky, and your target was very inconsistent throughout the game. just curious how many of those 300s were on league or practice? and were they all on house shots?

@darkderek100 You're totally right. Although it's impossible to hit flush every time, I had a ridiculous amount of room. Yes, all of the 300s were on house shots (I have 5 now), some easier than others, and I have one sanctioned 300 and 800. Ironically only two of the 5 have been done on one lane, the other three I was rotating lanes on a pair.

@lionking300 Nice man thats pretty cool! You ever bowl on sport shots? If you haven't you should try it, it really opens your eyes to how good and accurate you really are. Also not trying to like bash on you or anything with that last comment, 300s are still really impressive no matter what ha just saying it could've been better, Nice game though man keep it up! and what equipment do you use btw?

@darkderek100 In fact, the only leagues I've bowled since 2006 have been sport shot or PBA experience leagues! It's really helped my game a lot, we bowl on a different pattern every week and I'm at about a 180-185 average (nobody is averaging 200 in this league right now), my last book was a 219. I'm using pretty old equipment - in my bag right now: Roto Grip Pluto, Morich Weapon of Mass Bias, Columbia Wrath XP, Elite Eclipse, Brunswick Monster Bruiser and Smash-R, and a Track Robo Rule.

@rogueownaa Thank you! Wow, 299 three times in the same day??? That's unbelievable... but certainly means you will get that 300 soon. I had 3 290+ games before rolling my first 300, and since then I've struck 5 times on that 12th ball and failed just twice. Once you get that first one it's a lot easier :)

@ladyzmann I used to, I bowled league there for almost 10 years but when the big-money Scratch Trios league folded in 2008 I stopped. I'm bowling the PBA experience league over at Tech city now. I worked at Kenmore for 7 years or so in the cardroom as a dealer but that closed down too about a year ago so I lost my job. Only been back a few times since then.

I bowl once or twice a week at a variety of different centers so I can practice on different lane conditions. I'd love to join the pros, but I must say that the lanes pros bowl on are much more difficult, with more oil towards the outside part of the lane, which penalizes any mistakes. On a house shot, as you can see in the video, I have some room to miss and still have a chance to strike. All centers make their lanes easy so people are happy :)

Nice job, but you have to admit it is a lot easier during practice than when it counts on a pair of lanes, plus having an open 1 -3 pocket a little didn't hurt either, I think that is why you got that break I believe in the 10th frame. All in all a nice run of strikes though. Also I wonder why that house spent all that money on scorers and synthetic lanes but kept the 82.30 machines and the tiny amount of money in contrast to the other renovations to put in new masking units?

Haha, you're the first person to bring up the open pocket and that certainly helped. I even reracked a couple times when it was too far open. I'm not surprised they kept the 82-30s since they still work fine, but I agree new masking units would be an upgrade... looks like the 80s :)  And it really helped their customer retention since the new lanes installed, scores skyrocketed as they usually do with a soft shot and synthetics. TONS of new league bowlers. This place was a brickyard before.

@lionking300 I mentioned the open pocket because as a PBA champion it is one of the things if not the first thing that I would look at was the rack. As to the look of the center, as the owner of 21 different centers that is one of the first things that I change. If you visit my channel you will see my latest center a candlepin one that still has the old look but only for another month as the scorers and masking are going in about 4 weeks. Keep up the good bowling....

If you're interested in doing something a little different, I suggest playing a game of corner pin. It's easy, all you aim for are the seven and ten pins. A perfect score will be twenty.

I've tried this game and I really should play it more often because I've been missing a fair amount of 10 pins lately. Should add though that a gutter on the first shot is a strike and getting 0 on the second shot is a spare. Thanks for the suggestion!

Damn dude, what do you have stuck up your ass? Did I say I wanted to be the next PBA superstar? If I didn't get out of the way my arm would be in the way of the camera and you couldn't see anything. I'd prefer to see the ball rolling down the lane and hitting the pins.
