The characters are memorable in Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow. Those movies were good. Emmerich also did show some effort in the 1998 Godzilla.

Well, then approach it from a different angle and gratify really well made movies. If the box-office has greater attendance, more dvd buys and other merchandise from great films, the profit increases and in turn the goodness is reproduced. Direct where the profit goes, change the industry.

Yeah, here are the things my Social Studies/History teacher found wrong with this movie:

1.The ice age- About 20000BC

2.Pyramid building- About 2500 BC

3.Mamoths/Sabertooth- Same as ice age

4.Cave men(The main tribes)- 2000000BC-50000BC

5.Dinosours-BIG ONE,60000000BC

Even though it's actiony and pretty overall good, the timing of events, scenes, places, and all that good stuff is WAY OFF, and the movie would of seemed way better if it was just called "B.C.".

This is a very smart man. I watched the movie and it was pure cheese. I didn't even remember the NAMES of the characters when I left. There was a character called Tic'Tic in the movie, and it took me 2/3 the movie to give a damn to care what his name was. Also I had to go over to the IMDB to really learn all of their names (which, as of writing this, I've already forgotten). Follow his advice and make some memorable characters next time, Hollywood.

Hey, one realy epic movie was Laurence of Arabia, the main character, an adventerous British officer who goes to Arabia to assist the Arabs in a rebellion against the ruling Ottoman empire during WW1, was a very interesting character. it was also a true story. My advice is to go see this 4 hour epic. It has some stuning visual effects for it's time (1960something). Go rent that rather than watch this movie. I closing, I completely agree with you.
