I have pretty oily skin with alot of uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation. Do you think that this system would work to cover all of that before it starts looking cakey, and would it last more or less than a regular mattifying foundation? I know it's probably hard to say because you haven't seen my skin :P
Hi just saw your video great info thanks. I have developed dark spots all over my face during my pregnancy. I have spent tons of money getting IPL, Microdermabrazions, Peels, acids and after a while it all come back again. So can you please share the name of the "professional more expensive airbrush kit the one you mention you can control the quantity and the velocity.
@andreialemo I use a Temptu PRO machine (not the Temptu from SEphora) I was informed that Luminess does have other systems where you can control psi. I think the more important thing to keep in mind is the product rather than the system. Look for products that are going to correct, (peachy salmon tones to cancel out the discoloration, then conceal. Also keep in mind the options you have in silicone vs water vs cream foundations (airbrushing aside)
@PFD00 Not a weird question at all- think of it as regular makeup once it's on. You can touch it, add blush, etc. Just know you have natural oils on your fingers, and with makeup or not you should try to avoid really touching your face. But don't feel like you have to be scared to scratch your nose, haha, you know .
The longevity of a foundation is important to me, how is the staying power of a Luminess foundation compare to a long-wearing foundation like Estee Lauder Double Wear? Does Luminess foundation oxidize? Thanks
@1001tears I'm not too familiar with Estee Lauder Double Wear, is it water, oil or silicone based? This is water based so it would be hard to compare too different types of products. I didn't have a problem with it oxidizing though.
@TmakeupG It's a water based foundation, it's sort of like the higher-end version of Revlon Colorstay. How many hours did the Luminess foundation last on you? Thanks.
Omg I love all ur videos bc they are soooo helpful...Now I just purchased a Temptu system for my work. I also do Bridal Makep and so Im hoping that this system will help me...What are ur pros about this system?
@TmakeupG Yes do u prefer Temptu over Luminess for Bridal Makeup? I was thinking of getting Luminess but in my opinion it was just too much time cosuming to clean ever color out before using a different shade or blush...Temptu for me is faster and no clean up at all bc of the pods....
@ydelrod I haven't used the Luminess on anything other my myself thus far. I'm not sure what you mean about the cleanup vs Temptu. My Temptu is exactly the same way. If you use many varying colors you'll have the clean in between. That is just airbrushing in general, not any particular system. Some people keep an extra gun with them but plot what your going to use and when so the in between isn't too exaustive like I mentioned in the video. Are you using the Temptu from sephora?
@ydelrod I'm realized we are talking about 2 different systems. I have the Temptu PRO machine. I think you are referring to the Temptu from Sephora with individual pods. I've never used that so I don't know, if that works better than go for it. My Temptu is very similar to the Luminess in the sense of dropping colors into the well, mixing, cleaning etc. I love the freedom to customizing my own colors. Hope that helps, thanks so much for your comment.
I just shipped my temptu air to temptu. It has never worked right and I had to by another compressor. Hopefully they can fix it, because its only small and cute, it has not been good for me. Then to think when you call them they say you have to use it full blast to get the silicone through, i still can't get it through, even bought a new gun, nozzle, needle. you name it, I tried it. very disspointed as you would know its not cheap. :(
Can you go over your pro system and types of foundations you use. I am just like you in with they eyes...I have to use my eyes products and brushes...
Great Review, however silcone based foundations are not for everyone? Some people are very sensitive to it and break out what do you use for that your RCMA pallette?
@anagnlluvsmakeup It all depends on the client and their needs and what I'm doing the makeup for. Silcone primers and foundations have a great reputation for holding up and withstanding many scenarios that brides (especially) can find themselves in. I carry several foundations, but sure, RCMA would be a great cream option. Thanks!
you remind me of J.Lo a little bit

SO SORRY i have another question ahah. could you also use that makeup with a brush? or no?
addictedbitchh 4 months ago
@addictedbitchh You could but I don't think it'll be as fantastic as airbrushing it would be.
TmakeupG 4 months ago
would you set your makeup with the hd powder on your face and eyes after this?
addictedbitchh 4 months ago
@addictedbitchh Especially the eyes. They did crease a bit.

I didn't mention it in this video, I will in another. In my kit I invested in the Temptu airbrush system for my kit, and I use their SB foundation.
