  • I want to learn how to play latin piano but I can't work out the patterns and notes at the end - do you sell a DVD or anything that explains it more slowly and clearly?

  • there's so many things wrong with this, it makes want to cry....

  • que asco!!!!

  • this is really bad in a nut shell!

  • Perhaps he's an expert at break dancing, but surely has a long, long, LONG way to go before titling himself expert at jazz piano.

  • @anthonyhealy25 Agreed!! Whatta snow job!! R U Kidding me?? His "explanation" of the basics of Latin Jazz was terrible, if not downright nonexistent. And, if you're playing a piece in G#, then the dominant chord has to be D#, not Eb, as he pointed out. That's basic harmony! Please tell me this guy isn't teaching at a local junior college.

  • @anthonyhealy25 hes neither

  • Oh come on! You don't no what latin is like, you don't no what Jazz like and you can't play the piano. You are not able to play in time. So this is my advice: Stop playing the piano and go on with breakdancing. Especially: stop making this videos! they are horrible!

    Fail, Fail, Fail!!!

  • Hijole, ya sabes como tocar los cojones nomas...

  • This MUST be a joke.

  • I cannot make up my mind as to how many ways I could bash this idiots head in. Especially that its "less radio listener friendly"??? WTF is this freak of nature talking about???

  • He's suck. He don't know how play Latin jazz. Que clase de porqueria.

  • Like if you were directed here by Oskar Cartaya!

  • This should be named "How not to play latin jazz"...

  • Words fail me. EPIC fail!!!

  • Real music come thru ideas not patterns and smart tricks! Come on, get a life!

  • You need to tune your piano. Then you need to sell it and give the proceeds to "Expert" Village so that they can afford to hire people who know what the fuck they're talking about.

  • Don't you mean D#? I mean, if you're in G# minor. Sorry, not to sound like a prick....my conservatory training comes out every now and then....lol.

  • if this guy is an expert, then what am I?

  • it would be better if it actually sounded ok....

  • Just like Buena Vista Social Club.....

  • Sorry gosciu ale po

    1. Fortepian ci nie stroi

    2. dosyc kanciasto grasz te synkopy

    3. Prosze zrob cos dla przyszlosci muzyki, nie pokazuj nam jak grac.

  • Nice touch mixing flats and sharps in the chord names, a more subtle joke for the players.

  • This is in the description :´D :

    Expert: Austin McBride

Bio: Austin McBride has been doing Break Dancing for 4 years, featuring himself in about 6 clubs. He says break dancing is great for exercise and to impress friends.

    Filmmaker: joseph wilkins

    why, Why, WHYYY??

it has to be the best joke of all times.

  • FUCK EXPERT VILLAGE!!!

  • more flam!

  • queeeeeee,es una broma esto ????'ayy mi Dios..

  • You are completely fucked up . What a hell you are doing front of the piano .

You are vesting a lot of time man .It is very late for you to learn playing piano .

  • You want to hear some great latin jazz piano, Rubin Gonzales from Cuba...outstanding. This is a joke, holy shit, mon, Listen to the Lake Beauavista Social Club...and the great Rubin G.

  • I think most people don't realize that this guy is joking.

  • @banjoman2375 I hope he's joking! But I've actually met guys like this who introduce themselves to me at my gigs and want to sit in and they are just like this cat and they are dead serious thinking they can play. It's pretty scary sometimes.

  • scary

  • with all due respect.. but this is a total missinformation on the subject. Austin Mcbride says that this latin jazz is "less radio friendly in the states and it's a little bit harder to come by" WOW WRONG FACTS, this music is available everywhere and it plays in the radio everywhere too, SECOND this Austin does not know how to play this style, his syncopation, timming and the use of chords is totally wrong... EXPERTVILLAGE PLEASE GET SOME REAL EXPERTS ON THIS SUBJECT. ** NO DISRESPECT MEANT**

  • How do I become an Expertvillager?

  • @ExpressStaveNotation You probably already are. Just upload a crap video!

  • @ExpressStaveNotation, rule number one: no experts allowed; rule number two: there are no rules.

  • REALLY???? It's that easy ....huh!!! Dillhole!

  • guys... let expertvillage share his knowledge there always be someone who like me who has no idea how to play . After two years maybe I'll be in the same level as all of you.

  • that's fine if it's genuine knowledge not a shambolic attempt by a klutz who needs to gain it for himself in the first place.

  • I was hoping someone threw a grenade thru the window

  • Wow. Watching anything from "Expertvillage" is about as useful as trying to use monkey crap to bake a cake...

  • Que es el jazz??? aguante la cumbia, el reaggeton y el chamamè pistero!!!

  • CALLESE PENDEJO

  • is that a joke?

  • you play like a kid ....

  • Latin Jazz?????????????

    I. You should be using more of a jazzy chord progression like a ii V I

II. The chord progression you use was i iv V which in turn is the chord progression to the son montuno.

III. So if you where trying to play Latin jazz that was not acurate at all, and if you where trying to play Son Montuno, you are way out of rhythm.

The only difference from jazz and Latin Jazz is that the rhythm follows the calve, and play some mambo on your right and jazz chords on the left.

  • WTF?? Really....really?? I am going to talk to Expert Village, because I am apparently Dr. Billy Taylor in comparison.

  • Man, you are more out of tune than your piano! Stay well away from music and leave teaching it to the real experts. You possibly have a future as a B list comedian though.

  • i just threw up a little in my mouth.

  • ouch, im by no means an accomplished player of piano, but only be an "expert" if you can play the chords right! he had the right idea for a few seconds though....

  • decent

  • you goto be kidding
