Doubt that there will ever be a front-facing camera. The iPad is meant to be used in the lap, and from that angle, the lens would be aiming right up the user's nose.

Im sorry i just can't get pass the oversize iphone opss ipad its just not worth the time or money in my view to me its just a oversize kid toy..

No camera? wait for the next version. It's not that serious.

Not a phone? yes it is! With multitasking on the way in the iPhone OS 4 you can now use skype which is an application in the app store that allows you to make calls and receive calls. With Skype in the background you can now receive calls from people with the new iPhone OS 4. Skype unlimited is $25 a year for US & Canada. But of course you need the iPad 3g to get the full Phone experience.
