  • give her a break!

  • Good job, it seems you were starting out in dressage when this was made from the comments above??? If so good work hope you stuck with it =)

  • was this on st. simon's island by any chance??

  • 55% seems a really low score to me i mean got70% at a national.... but any way

    Lean back, sit up

dont hold your hands so low, hold them up and big them toward you and alow him to be soft. and more activity needed try to largen the strids rather than quicken,,,, keep working on it maybe you should nail preliminary first and then work your way up?

  • um, as an m class dressage rider (in germany), can i offer you a suggestion?

when you are training at home, take draw reins on your horse and ask him to move fast to loosen his shoulders, neck and butt because they look really stiff and he is hardly using his back end. if you do this, you will gain a lot more points in tournaments and your horse will be more comfortable.

    good job though!

  • Lovely horse! Overall nice job for the level. Try to soften your wrist and make sue to open and close your elbows when in rising trot. that should help him to start to round his topline. I don't think the stirrups are too long but try to soften your aklle and let your weight "sink" down your leg so that you are sitting "deeper" or "around" your horse. Good luck to a nice pair as you continue to develope your partnership!!!

  • Your stirrups look too long lol.

  • Hymmm l'm not going to be as objectionable as

'egasserd8888' because it seems like that horse is young, therefore still learning, hence the reason they're entered in level one, but my only critique is that you need to work on collection...It looked like every time he gave to you you didn't release him (his reward)

And is that a palomino with a dorsal stripe?

  • my horse does wat urs did

he shoves his head in the air wen u first go into trot.

  • Good grief , that is just Horrible ... the horse is completly inverted ??? why ????the rider cannot even post ... AFTER 8 YEARS ???? cannot even have the correct storrups lenght ??? I am lost for words .....

  • beautiful ride.. i'm not quite there yet.. but i'm working hard to get there soon.. ^_^

  • nice ride!! pretty horse!! i too have made the switch from hunters to dressage with my horse and he seems to love it soo much more then hunters!!!!

  • nice horse and nice ride!

  • Cute horse, nice ride.

I've never seen grass in a dressage arena - and I doubt that my horse (from southern California) has ever seen that much grass anywhere. Lovely place there. Never mind ADD, his mind would go straight to grazing - I'm sure I would not be able to get him to budge. LOL I guess that's something we'll have to work on, if we're ever going to ride where there is grass.

  • neither have i, but mostly because i think the grass would be killed and utterly destroyed after like, the first day!

  • i can tell that was a hunter pony.. if you want some tips tell me but i dont want to give you any if you dont want them.. some people dont... but cute cute horse.. what was ur percentage?

  • Cute horse. =]

Looks like he needs a little work on getting rounder, but otherwise good.

    =)

  • hi, you and your horse look cute :) Can you check out my 2 riding videos and tell me what you think? I am not very good but i just wanted another dressage riders oppinion :)

  • how long u had this horse? : ) u get lessons

  • I had him for about 8 years. We switched from hunters to dressage 2 years ago. He likes it better.

  • Great video. I am learning Dressage with my horse.

  • Eh! Your allowed to have someone telling you what should come next?? No one ever did that for me! lol anywho, awesome job! I think your horse was pretty excited <3

  • nicely done! what was your score?

  • My score was 55.65%. I was pleased since we only had a brief warm-up and it was his first training test at a show. He had A.D.D. more than usual, however.

  • lol, my horse has some serious ADD issues too and he is still in training...an tips from one spastic horse owner to another?

  • haha nice . your horse is cuute

  • very nice...good job!
