cool nicol Bolas. for a few days ago i went to a trip to Germay and i was shopping and i went to a game and

hobby shop i was looking and then i found some conflux boosters and then i bought one. i dindt think that i was was going to pull apocaplypse hydra when i pulled it i was like like LoooooooooooooooooooooooooL fist booster mythic rare imao.

And another thing that pisses me off about the elitists at my college is that they treat Bolas like he's the worst card ever printed, and they treat Figure of Destiny and Garruk and other overrated cards like they're the next coming of fucking Jesus.

The thing is, the people who bitch about high mana costs most likely suck at getting shit out that's above their precious 4 mana or less limit. They're too used to their format to convert to higher mana cost and that's why they hate Bolas.

I agree with you 100%. I pulled Nicol Bolas on my first Conflux pack and I have used him successfully in Type 2 and so far no one has gotten rid of him yet. No one expects you to play him, let alone quickly (people forget there are speedy ways to play expensive cards. I love Birds!). 5 turns later, my opponent has no field and I'm giggling like a schoolgirl.

Nicol Bolas is awesome. So many people at my college bash on him because "ZOMG! He costs too much! Elspeth, Garruk, and Figure of Destiny are so much better!" So what? Bolas is better just because his effects are punishing. And let me get one thing straight, I don't give a flying fuck about what those damn elitists at my college say that he'll never see tournament play and 4 cost planeswalkers are better, the fact of the matter is, can you play them correctly?

My advice, order a display. Of course, that is expencive, but still, you can have A LOT of fun with a display, trust me.

I don't buy boosters, only crack em at Sealed and Draft event ;]

My advice, buy singles. He's running for ~22 dollars right now. And you'll spend over 100 on boosters before you crack him.

Well I would but I can't afford to buy him single... also I enjoy opening boosters... it's the thought that you never know what you'll get. Besides, just because I don't get the pull I want doesn't mean I won't get a pull I can use or trade for a card I want.
