  • This hit by Englebert Humperdinck was the 101st #1 song on what is now Billboard's Adult Contemporary charts. It also hit #18 on the Top 40 charts, #1 in Ireland, and #3 in the United Kingdom.

  • Wonderful!!!

  • I used to love all his songs,his real name was, 'Gerald Dorsey',I beleve & I think that he had 6 nice looking sisters,if I remember,lucky devil,lol.

Anyway,he was one of my favourite singers.

There will NEVER be another 60's era in pop music, certainly not the romantic type.

Where has all the love gone from this world?

When we of the 60's thought that we would change the world, little did we think just how rotten it would become.

  • @Michael00172 Totally agreed.....! Where has all the love gone....???? People have become very self centred and all of them are busy running a rat race....

  • @Michael00172 - His name is Arnold Georgeus Dorsay, Waht you think?

For me, he are the best.

  • Giden gitmiştir,gittiği gün bitmiştir..Kendi kaybeder ...

  • ikeep loveing you hon

  • What a Golden Voice

  • yes engelbert, you are that easy to forget.

  • @paulridgway1 you are an asshole

  • HE IS AWSOME AND HAS BEEN ONE OF MY BEST SOLO ARTISTS.

    KOLHOFF

  • Wow...what a voice. He could sing a nursery rhyme and I would melt :)

  • aint no body better than gentleman jim reeves, singing this.

  • @paulridgway1 \

    -keep dreaming...EH far exceeds

  • Excellent old song by Engelbert, ~ Arthur

  • no se metan con el viejo de mi madre..... jajaja y tambien me encanto, en ese tiempo tenian un buen de competencia no?

  • great, but i loved debbie reynolds version best

  • @222grayson you crazy that is as good as it gets

  • @huggie99z28 i am entitled to my opinion. i remember this song and i loved her version---nothing against this one. do you call everyone crazy whose opinion differs from you

  • @222grayson keep dreaming you must be stupid

  • lovely song

  • senzačné..............

  • my husband came back and sat down beside me..engelbert was so respectful when he saw i was with some one, he paid no more attention to me...i was just a younger verson of his wife....i guess he's a man that knows what he likes...if i hadn't been married i would of turn that fantasy into a reality.what would i have done with a man like him, except end up with a broken heart... better off to leave that alone..

  • @foster875 in ur dreams darlin

  • @rosimck7 Yes, absolutely.. You are right.....But it is the same replied.I would have excepted from MR ENGELBERT, if he had thought i was trying to say we had some kind of affair,, The reply was great, but that was not the message. I believe I know who my correspondent is now..

  • foster875@ So what happened? your fantasy? was it a happening, then you realized

your fantasy is no more!!, I got a song _ TO ALL THE GIRLS I LOVED, THEY WERE SO GOOD , HOPE THEY ARE IN GOOD.

  • @daranlively my reply is on the web page. hope you and the others enjoyed my story.. i was trying to make a statement ...then it went all over the place...your reply makes it sound Ilke it came from MR ENGELBERT himself.. WHETHER IT DID OR NOT, THANKS FOR THE SONG...

  • @daranlively MY REPLY IS ON THE WEB PAGE,,, I HOPE YOU AND OTHERS ENJOYED THE STORY, I WAS TRYING TO MAKE A SIMPLE STATEMENT, THEN IS WENT ALL OVER THE PLACE...I WAS WONDERING WHY YOU THOUGHT IT WAS MY FANTASY? YOUR REPLY MAKES IT SOUND LIKE IT MIGHT HAVE CAME FROM MR ENGELBERT HIMSELF...WHETHER IT DID OR THANKS FOR THE SONG...GOD BLESS

  • @daranlively THE MORE I THINK ABOUT THIS REPLY, THE FUNNIER IT'S GET, IT'S ALMOST HILARIOUS'' I DID'T MEAN TO SUGGEST OR IMPLIED THAT ANYTHING HAPPEN .SO I'M SORRY IF I SAID ANYTHING TO MIS LEAD YOU.. IT'S SEEM ONLY APPROPRIATE NOW THAT MY SONG FOR YOU IS " DON'T WORRY 'BOUT ME BABY".......FROM MY HEART " MAY GOD BLESS YOU" NUMBERS 6:24-26

  • i saw his show one time, i was sitting by self, my husband had went some where , when he walked out on stage checking something when he saw me sitting there, as i sat there i noticed every time i look up at him he was watching me.. he was trying toget my attention.. i was wondering why for there was a amazing number of women in the room at this time to knock the socks off any man. why me?? it took 30 years to find the answer, i saw a picture of his wife... we looked enough to be sisters,

  • "One of the best"

  • Am i that easy to forget isuch beatifull and sad words love this song

  • my dad sung this to my mum when they broke up after about 3 years of being together. they got back together, and stayed together for 23 years.

    so thankyouu engelbert:)

  • er is maar een engelbert , grandioos!!!!!

    fa1946

  • For this song in particular, I could easily forget all the other singers who sang the song. Engelbert's singing style, voice and vocal range are a cut above the rest.

  • @Freddie9384 Jim Reeves version has the soul, Engleberts has the production its the difference such as that between Frank Sinatra and Justin Beiber

  • reeves' version's got the soul. Engelbert's version's got the soul and the rest!!!

  • Awwwwwww, loved this way back when and still do,,at age 73...yessssssssssss

  • your not that easy to forget, philip john! i know i can find somebody new, but i dont want no one, but you.

  • XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

  • Englebert - absolutely love him - what a voice, takes me back to the good ole 60's.

  • Oh Gosh Wow..Adorable as always.xx

  • though engelbert's got the best voice of all singers of the song, but i prefer gene vincent's blues version more.

  • Of course, you are not that easy to forget. I'll always remember you :D

  • I was a bad dancer in terms of rock and roll back in the day, so I romanticized my then girlfriend and now my wife to slow tunes like this one and many of his others.

  • He is not a patch on Jim Reeves. This is a poor rendition.

  • 24 people think that this is easy to forget

  • He has such a beautiful voice that he makes it look easy. He brings his own essence to every song he sings and makes his own. I used to have every album he recorded.

  • What a Gentleman and a wonderful voice! Never get tired of him!

  • I was only 13 yrs. old then , watching this video takes me back in time. He is unique, no one like him .

  • Just saw him perform in the Seattle area ...his voice hasn't changed a bit. What a treat it was. My wife absolutely adores him...it was so much fun to watch Engelbert and the perpetual glow radiating off my wife's face at the same time. Thanks Engelbert for the memories and thanks for this fantastic post!

  • I would watch him with my mom. He is still great!

  • TO SHIRLEY OPIASA: Tough you are now belong to others hands, i knew not that easy to forget me, cause we have that love much more than shown, its deep within our heart.

  • i was 19 when engelbert had his big hit in 1967 with please release me i was a big mowtown fan at the time but there was always room for these great songs the pubs or bars dance halls all full great times not like today empty pubs loads closed thanks for the memories we had some great times

  • @colwynite It's just as much music as Jim Jones Review, you knucklehead. I'm sure the background music is harder to play, too. And ya know what? I bet he has a better vocal range than your screamy garage rocker retro clones. I'm not a fan or anything. I was actually just checking him out for a laugh, but your idiotic comment turned out to be the funniest thing on this page!

  • @colwynite oh so you mean youre the utter garbage whos thinks its not music?

  • Orleans in Las Vegas that is.

  • what a wanker. i have heard and seen better singers in the pubs in london. talentless tosser

  • I remember my Father singing this for us.

  • is he still alive?

  • for you daddy (1925-1987)

  • I am going to see Engelbert sing live at the Orleans Showroom in Las Vegas next month. I hope he sings this especially for me (wink wink)

  • @vilmad007 I hope he does too. Let me know if he still has that overpowering voice.

  • @pyakubov I saw Engelbert in concert at the Orleans Casino and Hotel on Sunday, August 22, 2010. His voice is just as powerful as it was 40 years ago. The man hasn't aged a bit and neither has his voice. It was a wonderful concert and none of us wanted to leave when the show was over. It was the second time I saw him live in concert, the first was in Halifax, Canada, in May 1998, and his voice is the same, if not better than it ever was. He sounds so much better than his records.

  • @vilmad007 You sound like you had a wonderful time. People say that voices weaken as the singer ages. That is amazing to me that you said that "he sounds so much better than his records." There are only a handful of singers ever that sound that good. Most singers are made in the sound studio. Thank you for telling me about your experience.

  • @vilmad007 Hi, saw him short while back while being a guest at a concert by three top artists from Holland. It was as great as ever. Check it out and search 'Toppers Humperdinck'

    Enjoy!

  • @vilmad007 I also saw him just a short while back in Holland. He was a guest at a concert by 3 top Dutch artists. He was strong and his voice was as great as ever.

Check it out and search for 'Toppers Engelbert Humperdinck' and you'll find the youtube video

    Enjoy!!

  • engelbert and patrizio buane are the best love song crooners ever

  • Lets face it ...I love Engelbert...........But how in the sacred underpants can he wake up in the morning and say to himself.........................."Yeah, I'll comb my hair towards Ceylon, thats bound to get the crowds flockin to me next gig!!"...........And yet it worked!!..............What a Guy!!

  • U rock engle my grandma loves u

  • Beautiful artist!

  • a nice job of a Skeeter Davis composition!

  • A fantastic performer,also a flawless voice!! Fantastic post

  • one of my all time favourite love songs.....

  • Ha ha ha ha.......fighting over nothin' dude..

  • i just heard this song for first time today, i love it

  • Go hear the difference, listen to the version of greatest Mr. Elvis!

  • Elvis didn't sing this song...:(

  • Well, if you are to lame to type: Am i that easy to forget Elvis Presley, into the searchbar from You Tube... than I see no need to answer more than this!!!

  • Not lame at all, just a big fan of ELVIS and I know he didn't sing that song, no need to be angry, Am I That Easy to Forget is a great ballad, however Elvis didn't sing it. Sorry...

  • You fool go type now:

am i that easy to forget elvis and you will hear this song right now by the king of music!!!!

  • fool? have a nice evening.

  • Is that all you have upon it?

  • Sir, that isn't Elvis singing, wondeful cover indeed, but not Elvis. So you can call me lame, or a fool. I know all of Mr. Preselys recordings and that isn't one of them.

  • May be the problem are your ears!

  • Like I said have a nice evening.

  • You are right, Doug Church sings it in Elvis's voice. Elvis himself never sung it but Doug Church does an awesome job.

  • Thanks so much, the man singing the song is awesome, does a great job. But I know my Elvis... Thanks for the positive reinforcement.

  • I hate this song i think it is too old. lol

  • the answer is yes.

  • LOL, thats a good one!

  • Several of his songs including this one was my childhood favorites, unfortunately I had a chance to attend a small private sitting down dinner party with him around 15year ago, he was friendly and flirted with me since I was pretty, but, he was very rude and mean to certain people, which left very bad impression on me, and gave me a very mixed feeling when I listen to his songs after that. But, I have to admit he was still very sexy in his late 50s.

  • Nobody can sing this song like Englebert, one of my favorites.

  • How can you leave without regrets.....oh, I love this song....

  • OMG, How I LOVED this man and his voice in the 60's and 70's! Engelbert and Tom Jones were considered "sexy"!! : )

  • He's blessed with a beautiful voice,as if he gides along & takes you to different world.............I love his 'Take my heart, I can undo.............' , 'Last Waltz'..these are

the best. He's truly a superb singer.

  • What a man! What a voice! Love him forever... he is truly the best.

    Thanks for posting..

  • Engelbert Humperdinck FOR EVER!!!!

  • Mr. Englebert Humperdinck was my grandmas favorite male singer. Her only request before she passed away many years ago was to play his songs during her wake which lasted for 3 days.

  • @kooljacks2006

To me also...I think I`ll do that too.I`ll ask my sons to play his songs when I die...it will be a beautiful way of leaving this world which E.H.made it beautiful with his singing.hearing his songs.

  • @kooljacks2006 I'll probably want the same music at my wake

  • @kooljacks2006 I think your grandma had good taste even until her last breath.

  • @kooljacks2006

    And mine too.

  • SUPERB!!

he is the greatest singer past now and forever!!!

nobody can forget him, his voice is brillant!!!

    thanks enge!!!
