Im not sure whats more embarrsiing pompey winning an FA cup or this video. History displays southampton being the better team over an extended period of time, Portsmouth to their credit have done okay but they are a yo yo club and will go down in years to come. I also beleive Fratton park is a terrible ground compared to saint Mary's. SOuthampton will rise again as Pompey falls.

Actually Portsmouth has a ferry, hovercraft, beach. Old portsmouth has a quality old feeling about it. Take a daytrip to Pompey it has plenty, it has work and its got balls.
And the north is a great place, and I don't mean the north of Southampton or Bournemouth.

I like most places... but I just wouldn't compare them to Bournemouth, that's all. imo, Bournemouth is the perfect place to live, and while alot of other cities have awesome things about them, they aren't as well balanced, eg. Portsmouth is a good place for a day trip like you said, but it's got tons of crime and drugs, which is why it's not as good a place to live.
If you want an example, London is a brilliant city.

You do realise that Portsmouth has far more drug problems than Southampton and Bournemouth combined, right? OK, so Southampton is bad - but it's not as bad as Liverpool, and it's nowhere near as bad as Portsmouth.
