Thats a very cool ford expo how much hp and tq? because it is the fastest suv I have ever seen.I plan to do a motor swap in the lincoln navigator with a shelby gt 500 5.4l and whipple supercharger upgrade.
Thanks, I have seen faster... but not as big as the expy. Had it dynoed after initial tune and it made 378 rwhp & 457 ft pd torque at the rear wheels. It has since been re-tuned several times, boost increased and a few other mods added. I would ball park rwhp near 450 now with about 500+ at the crank. (based on hp calculator using e.t., mph and weight)
Plan to throw more boost at it this upcoming season and hopefully improve e.t. dramatically. Will also get new dyno #'s
HOLY SHIT. I considered building my 99, putting the intech 32v 5.4 in and blowing it. Then doing a monster trans rebuild or just getting the trans out of a Lightning. I also wanted to convert it to manual transfer case. should kept it :(
Stock 4r100 has been holding up well. 116,000 miles on it. More concerned with tranfer case. Many lightnings have gone to Navi heads. Running Trick Flows 44cc track heat myself.
