Yeah, Under the Ivy is definitely one of her best songs of all time! If it had been about dying I think it would have been extremely powerful, but I learned it is about meeting a lover secretly?

The song is about recapturing childhood innocence. As an adult, slipping away from what it "means" to be an adult, with or without someone, and just being a child again, even if it's only for a moment.
