@supermariogalaxy242 It all goes back to Beethoven's 5th symphony and Wagner's leitmotifs! Modern composers use similar motives and such to create modern EPIC music! So yeah, that's why this kinda has a Star Wars thing at the beginning.

Imagine the sensation the orchestra, the composers, and even Miyamoto must have felt after this song was successfully recorded. They must have felt so unbelievably accomplished. My new goal in life is to feel that sense of accomplishment.

Its cool how you get to play during the credits, they should do that in a lot more games, that would be awesome.

@mrlegocollector2 The only problem with that, as shown in some glitch videos, means you can often times find a way to kill yourself in the credits then, which is actually kinda funny.

sweet sweet credits music... I absolutely love both the SMG soundtracks. The first for it's originality and beauty, and the second for taking all the previous songs and putting in new twists and beats, and also making completely new ones. EPIC!!!
