Woefully under-appreciated. He was the quarterback of the Rangers PP in 1994, led the team in scoring and developed into a damn good player.

could Zubov, who turns 39 over the summer, still handle such a workload considering his recent history of injuries? Nobody knows right now. Compounding the problem is the fact that Zubov might not decide whether he wants to make a comeback until late in the summer, and by then the top available defensemen could be off the market.

zubov was not traded from the rangers he signed as a free agent in the off season with the pens then the pens traded him to dallas so it was probably one of the worst trades in pens history because in 1995-96 season zubov had 66 points in 64 games
