As for the Strykers... I'm pro military and believe the usually support the practice and replacement of military ideals as long as the waste can be replaced. Stryker testing is fine, but they shouldn't be using civilian vehicles. Also the immediate expansion without congressional approval is illegal.
I forgot to mention to you marvnval, I am very much in support of local farmers and along with other scientists are working for a sustainable farming program on Kauai, we hope to put things in motion and be able to have 60-80% off food consumed on Kauai, grown on Kauai within 10 years. I have to disagree with the Monsanto thing. May be a lack of research but I see nothing wrong with it.
As for the Strykers... I'm pro military and believe the usually support the practice and replacement of military ideals as long as the waste can be replaced. Stryker testing is fine, but they shouldn't be using civilian vehicles. Also the immediate expansion without congressional approval is illegal.

I know someone who works for the military in the field of marine science and he's concluded and has given this as a representative in court as evidence saying the chances of whales being hit are extremely low as the chances of invasive species. You forget the the species have to adapt to our VERY different culture and most destructive species to Kauai do not adapt well to a omni-climate island. I'd like to hear a little more credentials on your being a "scientist"

The superferry is worse cause cars transport invasive species all the time, people can ride bike on one island and come ride bike on the other & bring seeds from weeds ect.
It will be the issue with animals much like young brothers yes, whats inside peoples stuff they bring
