Many write the Beach Boys off after "Good Vibrations" and the failure of the Smile project, when in fact they made much of their best music in the early 70's.

@20thesoul yes, unfortunately people rely too much on headlines and judgements of a small group of critics, die-hards or 'specialists'.

A few post-Pet Sounds gems: Darlin', Wild Honey, Friends, Do It Again, All I Want To Do, Cool Cool Water, Till I Day, Marcella, The Trader, The Night Was So Young, My Diane and Good Timin'

Let's hope that one day the public opinion (and some die-hard Brian fans) will face the truth that the Beach Boys made much more wonderful material after Pet Sounds
