I have a feeling Monk will be back in a couple of years. Lets face it - it's a good show and Tony Shalhoub rocks. This song is so sad and matches Monk. I never heard of the song before the commercials. Have ordered it from Amazon now. x

Unless you're saying that you're unhappy with the way the song was edited for the commercial. In that case, we should probably just be happy that an obscure Keane B-side made it onto American television.

Yes, I'm happy for Keane, but I just find that the way they cut it and editied it is obscene. The sentences don't make sense. The real, unedited song is much much better.

actually, the way they did this video made 110% sense. they kept the song repeating "its time," and then in the end. "to say goodbye".

obviously that makes sense. the show is over. "its time to say goodbye" to monk. and i dont doubt you knew this but you said it made no sense so there.

Yea he will find out who killed trudy. There are talking to tony shaloub about a ninth season. he said he wont do it but the guy who plays randy disher says he thinks tony will infact comeback for two more seasons. If he doesnt then monk was one hell of a show while it lasted. Nothing last forever. Wish thid did. This commercial is like watching the show. Kind of eerie.
