This is undoubtedly some of the most impressive work I have seen captured on the GH1, I have watched some of your work over and over as I contemplate purchasing an anamorphic lens for my GH13. This is so impressive great job. Check out my most recent short film on my page ("What Stays the Same"), it doesn't achieve the brilliance of this film with an anamorphic lens but it does show off the image capabilities of this hacked device. Thanks for posting. Nice shots. Trying to work out the ins and outs of all this anamorphic business. Are these LOMOs with the square front 1.5x anamorphic? Some videos I've seen are really narrow in height and i've noted people saying it was 2x. I am guessing that normal anamorphic was 1x. Really am looking to buy a LOMO anamorphic set up for my GH2 for a shoot next summer. Any insight would be much appreciated. Thanks.

What a wonderful video! I'd love to get some Lomo lenses! How much did they cost and what models were they? I have a 7D and I really would like to combine that beautiful lens flare with my film making. Will I need any adapters/mounts?

so let me put this straight. to get this letterbox film, you can use an anamorphic lense. and an anamorphic lense will also give you these light rays.

am I right? please correct me if I am not. i want an anamorphic lense for my 550d but don't know any lense that will do that for me

Damn, this is GORGEOUS! I just looked up those lenses on ebay. A set of three of them like what you have is $20,000!
