This song and "Feeding The Fire", two B-Sides from the Invisible Touch sessions, are much better than anything on that album. It's a shame that Genesis didn't make a whole album of the quality of those two tracks rather than most of the material on that weak album.
I do admit I would have liked to have this on Invisible Touch, my favorite part is 2:28 because it just dives in to the somewhat climactic state. Man Invisible Touch is such a great album
Do I remember correctly? Was this song played during the closing credits for the Invisible Tough concert video? Shame it was only used as a bumper of sorts. However I realize they can't play every song in a show.

it doesnt sound like mike rutherford on this. i know it is but this style of playing is unusual for him

@richierich67587 This piece was actually written by Tony Banks :) It's usually Banks who comes up with the instrumentals.

Just makes you wonder what other great Genesis stuff there is that never really saw the light of day.

I've got that tune on the Genesis Archive #2 Set. It's amazing!

Every bit as good as "The Brazillian".

WHY? WHY? THIS SONG IS 1'000.000. times better than "Invisible Touch" itself.....Or at least doesn't sound like N'Sync...

This song is fucking brilliant!!

Acoustic? Just how much is acoustic in this, other than the drums?

Brilliant tune!! Hard to believe it's from the Invisible Touch sessions. Feeding The Fire (from same sessions) was also a very good song.

Why hard to believe it was from the IT sessions?

I still think that The Brazilian is their best instrumental song.

To me, this is their best instrumental song. Absolutely brilliant. It's a shame it wasn't included on the IT album.
