Yup, now the online episodes are expiring by next month. RIP one of the best shows some of we sane people came to know and love. And welcoming some of the stupidest shows in it's place..... disgrace to television and the american broadcasting networks everywhere! @sokal91 rating on hulu's was like "one of the best", NBC could try to reshow it like now and, after watching the ratings, create 2nd season. Such good team of scenarists and directors (from x-files and other good shows) also pretty fresh new actors... At last, even Jericho got it's last chance with their 7 episodes of the 2nd. This is unfair at all, at everything, omg, I cannot describe .. - NBC just got hated by the most of their viewers, are they insane?

I blame NBC for this show getting canceled they did not advertise the show enough and they did not at least try to save the show by trying to at least get the religious audience. I saw the whole series but I new that this show would get canceled sadly.

i liked the ending, but i wanted to see david crowned. he would be a better king than silas. and i want to know what happened with michelle and her baby. Where did silas send her? i can't believe they are cancelling it. It was like My own Worst Enemy. a few shows--then they put a CANCEL label on it.

christopher egan is an AMAZING actor, and i think that he should continue his role as David.

this show has to comeback some how it ended with a cliff hanger. im really tired of nbc gettin rid of all its best shows first black donnellys and now this, both of them need to air a second season somewhere

The ending wasn't really a cliff hanger; everything that happens is accounted for and we know what happens to all of the characters. If the show resumed, likely there would be a year between the first and second season. That said, I found the finale excellent in itself.

it sort of was a cliff hanger, we dont know wat happens to michelle when they take her away, we dont know how david will come back and become king. if they were gonna end it they could at least gave them a full season of 23 episodes and at the end let david be crowned. the finale was great but it would have been better if it was just the season finale and not the very end. they just left way to much to the imagination to end it there,

It's not closed, but it's still not a 'cliffhanger' in the usual sense of the word. If it had ended in the middle of the David/Silas confrontation or in the middle of another event it would be, but each character's fate was handed down. Michelle is exiled, Jack is imprisoned until he produces an heir, Silas is going to war with Gath and God, the reverend is a ghost, and David slips away to Gath. The reason it feels like a cliffhanger is because we KNOW there is more to the story of King David.

yeah, that's wat i ment. i just couldnt find the right word to say instead of cliffhanger. but thats y this show needs to be back on the air so we could at least get to see david be crowned. the shows ratings were alot better than some of the shows that they decided to keep, nbc keeps bringin on great shows that i cant stop myself from watchin and then cancels it. i will check out some of the new shows like community, if i enjoy anything else new and it gets canceled in 1 season im quitin nbc.
