Robert had everyone on their feet at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Newmarket, ON recently, and I was blown away by the energy in the room! You could hear a pin drop while he was speaking, and afterwards some of the students approached Robert and told him that he had inspired them - so much so that they decided to become members of Best Buddies. You're right: staff realize that ALL students should hear his inspiring message. :)

I heard Robert speak at a seminar yesterday and I was blown away...best speaker of the day, in my opinion...I hope you make it on the Ellen show real soon...and I think she's got some dance competition to worry about...!!! Yes, let's get him on the Ellen Show! Apparently he won't leave the house or start moving until he has danced with Ellen! And because of satellite he can do this 5 or 6 times a day, and HE DOES EACH TIME SHE IS ON!!! Write to Ellen and make his dream come true! Let's do it for Rob!!!

People like my son, Robert, born with Down syndrome can do just about anything if they are given love, encouragement and opportunity. Don't look at their disability, focus on their ability. As the father of a 23 year old son with DS I have to tell you what was most shocking about this video. That Robert keeps perfect time with the music. LOL ... That is beyond my son Ray-Man.

Seriously though ... This is one of the most wonderful things I have ever seen. When he breaks into the Chuck Berry "Duck Walk" I'm reduced to a puddle of tears. Blessings on you all!!!!!

As Robert's aunt Addie, I can tell you that having him in my life for 31 years has been my biggest blessing. I can't tell you the number of times I have heard Rob speak, and yet I cry every time. What a blessing.

It brings me great joy to receive the many emails from families who say Rob's message is one of hope. As each year passes, you will see how you have been blessed with your little angel. Remember, God chose each of you for the other.

I thought his speech was great and this goes to show that the best of people are underestimated. It's amazing how positive kids/people are with down syndrome. I had a little boy named Zaine up until last year. He was 7 and also had down syndrome.
