2nd way: make a selfrepairing staircase so you can go up a bit, break 2 stones and put a door in it so a creeper cant reach the door and it cant be destroyed

3rd way: make a piston door which cant be reached by creepers explosion

and there are still more ways to do it....

@FirefoxAUT at the top edge have a row of pistons that are connected to a 5-clock. as the wall builds when its reaches top height the pistons push it horizontally which will make a roof. destroy a block in the roof, it creates a hole that can be filled in from the wall which is rebuilding.

one slight flaw, if the minecart gets destroyed, the mechanisms wont work

@100prototype It can have ground doors if you were to have the walls built from the air to the ground, just place obsidian over the door to keep it from getting crushed. And as for windows, have pistons making the walls coming in from the sides as ,well, and placing obsidian around the window.
