So easily explainable. The table legs are angled and hollow where there is a guy already in the right table leg, who is laying his legs and waist on the table while bending his torso down into the table leg. Then when the magician 'lays down', he stands in the left table leg and leans over onto the table, giving the overall impression that the two are same guy, which is why they added the semi circle prop, to cover the gap between them.
