Looks like they couldn't enjoy in very long. :) In 1968 we weren't occupied by the Polish nation, but by the communist government of Poland. Poles themselves tried to overthrown the communist regime in Poland twice in 1956...and in 1980. Most of the Poles were and are friends of Czech people. Who are you? Are you from Poland or are you a German? Sudettenland (Sudety) is another story.

@MrBumbooo what about the concentration camps? Many Czech people died there (not so many like jews, Poles, or Russians but many). Did you ever heard about Reinhard Heydrich?? Czech villages Ležáky, Lidice and Javoříčko were destroyed and people were massacred by Germans after Heydrich's dead. There were massacres in Ploština and Žalov at the end of WWII. And many others.

Alexander Dubcek wanted communism without USSR because czech republick wasnt state of USSR but it was only "SATELITE STATE" not regular part of USSR... and Army of warsaw pact was attacked czechoslovakia and after this attack(21. august 1968) too much russians lived in barracks in czechoslovakia since to 1991(russians came back to Russia)!!!

@90magor Alexander Dubcek was anticommunist he wanted to sell his country to IMF via Socialistinternational , we have countries that stayed in the warsaw pact and comecon but distanced themselves from the SOVIETS , like Albania they went with china much like Causescus era Romania that thought they were good on their own till they find out that the made by Gorbachov Us-puppet mafia of the russian federation and usa sends in terrorists to kill him.
