hi, thanks for the great tutorial. I am starting an African Dance class and I love how all the women have their hair tied up. I wasn't sure it would work on my textureless, brunette hair, but I tried it with a silk scarf I have, and voila! It worked!!! Thanks!

I asked a girl I kinda knew on campus to tell me how she wrapped her hair - I was stuck in the backward bandana triangle thing at the time, and wanted to get the nice, closed wrap going, and she looked at me like I had asked her her bra size, and then said she just "knew".
Well, I didn't, but now I do too!

I wish us white girls could get away with this; I love the look but whenever I try it, I look like I'm on chemo and lost my hair! My Nana used to wear turbans back in the '40's when they were fashionable for everyone...I wish they would come back as stylish for ALL...Peace and Love to you in 2010.
