I get pumped every time I watch any of these replays!!! It's the BEST college baseball world series I've ever seen! There were so many amazing playing throughout the series. Go Cocks!!
The South Carolina baseball team is the best in college world series history, because of the records they have now. I"m from southern california, a huge USC Trojans fan, but I"m happy for the GameCocks. South Carolina now have won back to back national titles, defeating ucla in 2010, and now here in 2011 beating flordia.
@ace2011ify Thanks for the kind words--they have made a really exceptional run, especially when you consider how outgunned they were offensively for many of those games. I think we can at least say it was as good a defensive performance over a 2-year stretch as we've ever seen. Still, 5 consecutive years is a pretty tough act to follow!
