Great commentary Purge! As a lower level player I definitely learned the value of spending money when I have it.

On a slightly related note, I feel that a slightly better name for the series could just be "Purge critiques..." followed by the name of the replay submitter and their hero. It would prevent any confusion as to who sent in the replay AND it would give easy information about whom (or is who? lol) the cast would be centered upon.

I have to say this was an incredibly low tier game. You're getting a Spectre who's at the 35 minute mark and still trying to go for a Radiance and I won't even mention the Rikimaru you bashed on all game.

I won't say that critique sucked, but you should have really found a game with a higher level of skill, it would have been a lot better to watch.

@dusanp87 oh and upheavel doesn't normally work against blinkers and range stunners. but I guess its situational too. if there happens to be a game where there are no such heroes I guess you can take 1 level of upheaval over a stat level at level 5

Also, positioning is one of the most important things is DotA and with upheaval you make enemies run around a huge circle or get/stay in and be slowed to a crawl which often gives your whole team a very big advantage. Sorry for the long talk but I would really appreciate an answer from someone.

Please answer me this: Why are fatal bonds generally considered better than upheaval early game? I see players who are better than me go for that build so I'm guessing its true but I just cant see the logic behind it. Fatal bonds are most effective in team fights which to the most part do no occur early/mid game, upheaval on the other hand is priceless ganking spell (shadow word->infernal->upheaval) which can also be used very effectively to save an ally (in addition to shadow word).

Ya, definitely the main problem was that there were a lot of time where lanes were empty or overly occupied. If Spect went mid during that time for freefarm, he would have destroyed everyone. Riki should have gotten agi items like you said. I give props for the support of the teams, though.

MoM on riki isn't bad...it's just that the riki in this game went super aggressive and always initiated even though they had pretty good initiation opportunity from the radiant...

One note about the mask of madness. You don't HAVE to turn it on all the time, you can selectively use it to chase or escape. Definitely need a BKB if you go that route though, you really don't want to get stunned.

@mooseclamps The invoker submitted the replay interested in my critique. I gave him that, and I don't think I was too critical. He played pretty fine but he made mistakes(as all players do) and I vocalized those so he can get better at the game.

Pretty much every caster covers the replay timer so you don't know when the game is about to end.

SMNC is Super Monday Night Combat, a sequel to a Dota- like Third person shooter. SMNC is supposed to be much more like Dota, and is currently in closed beta.

riki can get attack speed by adding agility item such as yasha and also increase the damage backstab which is good to be picked up rather than MoM because it also make riki take more damage and he has low base health

@GlowingShutter its a good build here because here actually got enough regen, in the other video purge was talking about just 1 stout, 1 quelling and 1 tango. But here he added in a salve and a gg branch which completes the set. making it a great build if you random.

@GlowingShutter I mentioned this in my starting gold video briefly. If you random you are able to get stout+quelling+regen+stats. Also, my themes of the video were "make sure you have regen, last hitting power, survivability", all of which he could afford. DId you not pay attention to that video or?

I get that people want to make some publicity but come on. 2 stamps on your video really is too greedy. and the one on the top left really is missplaced you could at least put it in the other square on the bottom.

@totlyepic Timings change based on what happens in the game for the most part. You should probably not be looking into what time a higher level gets X or Y or does such a thing seeing as it wont apply the same way to your games.

It's like anti-spoiler videos, or adding a few minutes of blackness to the end of videos, so the Youtube timer doesn't give away how close to the end of the game it is.

And self centered is a better way to put it effectivly but hey sometimes i misuse words, it happens i'm not a native speaker. All in all the only thing that matter is the one on the bottom left is useless and the one on the top right makes it less clean. So it's better without or at least like the "Purge plays Exort Wex Invoker". Just my 2 cents as a viewer who likes is content tough.
