@dogman15 Well, its unknown if he has a real name in the beginning of the movie, as it never shows what it is, but when he gets to Dirt, he changes his name to Rango after seeing a label on a Cactus Juice cup.

@MsPerryRocks: That's not what I meant. The chameleon's name is implied to be Lars, given to him by his owners, I guess. When he gets to Dirt, he invents the name "Rango" for himself. I was asking the name of the toad, which I've recently discovered is named Rock-Eye and voiced by Joe Nunez.

Some user on IMDb foolishly set "Rango" and "Lars" to have completely separate character pages, when they should both be the same character ("Rango") with "Lars" as an "Also Known As".
