i live in southwest fl and the shiners we castnet are 1/4 of the size of those shiners

I lived in FL for 9 years and those are Shinners. They are Golden Shinners that he is catching. I even hooked one on.... Hmmm.... Either worm or dough ball (bread rolled into a small ball) and it was about the same size as the ones this guy is catching and looked the same. They DO live in Florida.

you catch them in ponds, you would have to try the spot to tell if there is any in there, i catch them with a bettle spin lure, and a cast net.
