This brought back a lot of memories. I'm originally from Coconut Grove and I've seen Jimmy at Miami Marine Stadium at least half a dozen times! In one show, he jumped into the water after the last song...
I've been a parrothead since first hearing Margaritaville. It's the mix of songs, silly to serious, with Jimmy's unerring ability to be clever, funny, profound, to capture beach images, steel drums, grass skirts, and tropical suns, while making a soul go, "Hmm..." He can take a thing we've looked at a hundred times - from a thousand perspectives - and, listening to his music, make us laugh, think, appreciate.
Buffett looks good for 1976 years old.

Wow... you noticed! The rocketship is coming along, slow but sure. It's these damn rookies who worry me. :)
